      if you want the real Christian "Passover" look at the Catholic Mass. Jesus Christ instituted the Mass and the Eucharist at Passover. Every Christian is Catholic, they just haven't realized it yet. Don't take my word for it, look at the history of Christianity. Whatever this is would be considered heretical by the early church (and still is).

      Passover has big significance and commitment that only covenanted people know and understand. Passover is not for uncircumcised men, or people that are still under paganism like celebrating Christmas, Easter and Halloween, and eating unclean. The first step is to learn about the requirements and THEN get into the secrecy of Pesach.

      The reason to respond, is to share an alternative view, which might just be introducing a greater truth,
      Acts 18:25-26
      This man was instructed in the way of the Lord; and being fervent in the spirit, he spake and taught diligently the things of the Lord, KNOWING ONLY the baptism of John. 26. And he began to speak boldly in the synagogue: whom WHEN Aquila and Priscilla HAD HEARD, they took him unto them, and expounded unto him the way of God more perfectly.
      What if they hadn't done so.

    The Last Supper was a Passover meal. Yeshua said "As often as you do this, do it in remembrance of me" Question: How often was Passover observed. Answer: Once a year. Not on the 3rd Sunday of every month and certainly not at every Mass. When He said I will not eat this again until...implies we will all get to observe the Appointed Times during His reign. The original Passover pointed towards the Lamb of God and now it points back to the Sacrifice of the Lamb of God for our sins. He is the Worthy Lamb that was slain but is alive forevermore

      God is spirit not flesh God Yah name is mentioned more then 6000 times in bible God is never changed or never dies study history of religion and Pegan history Christianity is rooted Paganism . Daniel 12:2 2And many who sleep in the dust of the earth will awaken-these for eternal life, and those for disgrace, for eternal abhorrence. ( doesn’t mean to appear on the earth ) this concept is also free masons + drinking blood and Flesh God of Isreal did not allowed to eat bird, fish , animals blood and flesh read the laws what capital sin human did is not forbidden by repentance??? Is God is powerful or Lucifer Who took him wilderness no one can touch or see God Matthew 4:1
      Then Jesus was led by the devil into the wilderness to be tempted.. 😂😂😂 J word invented in 1524 who was scribes in those books Lesus, Zesus God Ra God go search .
      I repent Serving Jesus God it’s idolatry created by Romans Messiah . If Jesus was God why J said Father is greater then. Me . He knew he is on assignment to sacrifice himself why he said Father take away this assignment. 😅 Read the history of Jerusalemsages is Mary was raped by Roman solider or Yosef she was only 12-14 years old God of Isreal honor marriage covenant why he did not send his angels after they got married like others in Old Testament why Paul is opposed against Jesus teaching why J claimed he is Jewish and said he did not came to abolished the laws then many time he broke Gods commandments he was false God , if Christian’s are righteous then why they have demons. ??

      There is a church that has a walkthrough video. You can have him lead it for you and it’s almost like you’re not celebrating alone. Don’t be afraid to invite some friends or family over and see what it’s all about. Just tell them you’re planning a small special dinner for Passover and would like to have them over. Many Christian’s find it very special once they see the symbolism in the celebration. I hope you have a wonderful Passover. Soon we will all celebrate with our Messiah in person! ❤️

      2024 is actually one of the years that Passover and Easter are not lined up. That’s because Passover is determined by the lunar calendar and always falls in the middle of the month of Nisan. The Christian church, and America for that matter, go by a solar calendar. In the year 2024 Easter is on March 31. Passover will begin at sundown on April 22 and end at nightfall on April 30th. Yeshua was crucified in the middle of the month of Nisan. Here’s an article about how the months don’t always coincide that may be helpful.

    • @TracieintheKingdom
      @TracieintheKingdom  Рік тому +4

      Thank you for watching. I agree that scripturally, the Seder plate is not a part of the original celebration, not even at the last supper. You are absolutely correct! It’s wonderful that you have dove into the scripture yourself and fed upon the word. Rightly dividing the truth. That is the key many people miss out on. However, I believe there is much that can be gleaned from the symbolism in the Seder. If you don’t mind, I will respond the same as I did to the last person that commented much the same.
      Just as God gave wisdom to Caiaphas to prophesy, not because of his wisdom but simply because he was the chosen high priest, I believe the Passover Seder has undeniable symbolism and prophesy.
      “He (Caiaphas) did not say this of his own accord, but being high priest that year he prophesied that Yeshua would die for the nation, and not for the nation only, but also to gather into one the children of God who are scattered abroad.”
      ‭‭John‬ ‭11‬:‭51‬-‭52‬ ‭
      He loves His people and continues to call to them to be a part of their own Messiah.
      Thank you again for watching and commenting. I appreciate your love of God’s word, and for your encouragement. Shalom to you and happy Passover to you and your family ♥️

Thank you for making this video for people like me who don't quite know how to celebrate this special holiday. The Lord has been guiding me in this way lately after being raised in the "American traditional church way." I'm excited about it! Thanks so much again for this video and blessings to you!!

      We do the Seder plate the first day only then we fast leavened products the rest of the week. Sometimes we have Passover invites so we will be doing this three times this year! Once with just my family, once with Jewish family and one more time with a messianic congregation. 😅 Thankfully I only have to lead my own family the first night.

      Thank you for watching. I’m glad I can help, and happy Passover to you and your family! Some people box it up and send it away to a family member who doesn’t partake for the week. The Jewish people place it in an out of the way shelf and “sell” that space to someone else for the duration of the fast. The Bible says it’s not suppose to be in the house, however, so I don’t know how I personally feel about that. We have carb filled dinners every night until it’s all gone up until Passover. 😂
      I wasn’t able to keep it perfectly the first few years as I learned more. I separated my stuff from the rest of the family that didn’t keep unleavened bread as my husband didn’t keep the fast and that space was off limits to me. Now we eat a lot of soft tacos and such during the week. I make out a week menu of stuff and thats all we’ll have. Pray about it and see how the Lord leads you and your family. Congratulations on your first Passover! The feasts are such a joy to keep! The longer you do them, the easier they’ll get. Don’t be too hard on yourself and enjoy the holiday. Just like our walk with God, you grow as you go. ♥️

    This video popped up because for 5 years ive not been doing any secular holidays, i haven't been setti g up a Christmas tree or observing Easter, but i have got together with my mother with my son, cause unfortunately shes still stuck in the churches ways...i get together more for fellowship. Havent actually done a seder yet, but want to...just simce its just me and my son, who's autistic and doesnt really comprehend yet even at 18, its hard and daunting. Just one note, the hand washing part is one we as Christian's can ommit, seeing Jesus for the most part did away and the Pharisees confronted him on when his Disciples began eating without washing. That was a MAN made Jew add on law and wasnt actually part or the laws from Moses. It was one where the Pharisees thought they needed extra laws. Its not about what goes into or how into the mouth, because in then end that will eventually come out through the other end. Its more what comes out of the mouth from the heart

      My oldest has also struggled with autism, though his is hardly noticeable now a days. It was more pronounced when he was younger. I pray for you and your son. I think more gets through to them than we realize. It doesn’t seem like they’re taking much in sometimes but it does get in to their spirit. My son will say some profound things at times when I thought he was off in his own space and not listening.
      I started out only celebrating with my two boys and since making the channel have found that there were more around me to fellowship with than I thought. God is calling people back to His ways in these last days. If nothing else l, you will meet others who have been curious and haven’t started yet because they don’t know where to start. Thats what I feel like God has called this channel to be, mostly as a beginners guide and then I pray they let the Father and His word lead them deeper. I returned to Messianic faith around 10 years ago. It was a slow process and I had wished there was someone there to tell me how to start.
      I pray your Passover is a blessing and that the Father leads others to you to fellowship with. I pray for your mother also. ❤️
      Chag pesach sameach. Happy Passover Holiday

    In the Bible the Passover meal is lamb, unleavened bread and bitter herb. The rest is taken from the Talmud, a Jewish book. The seder is actually based on the Greek Symposium. I watched a video with the Rabbi explaining this.

    You can also make a super simple unleavened fry bread, I made chinese scallion pancake. Just flour, toasted sesame oil and green onion. I don't see why you can't leave out the onion and add some of the parsley to it and switch out the sesame oil for olive oil. Just a thought.

    As a Polish Roman Catholic I think we should remember Passover along with Easter. The Jewish Passover Seder and Jesus's Last Supper are both based on Passover. As we know, Jesus was a Jew and his last supper was a Seder and was based on Passover with all the symbols present in the Passover. Jesus was not a Christian (all that follow Him are), so Jesus' Seder was remembering Passover and He added to it (after the Seder ended) for His Apostles to remember Him too. God the Father freed the Jews from Egypt, and God the Son freed us from eternal sin. Jesus used the same symbols in the Passover Seder in his Last Supper. Three loaves of break, the hiding of the middle broken loaf of bread, the breaking of bread and sharing, salt water, bitter herbs and vegetables, the haste of unleavened bread, 4 cups of wine and its representation to the blood of sacrifice, the sacrificial lamb and its role with God and its symbol as the Son, the fragile egg of life, reclining at supper, dipping twice, young children asking questions, retelling the story of Passover, and now the retelling of the Passion of Christ as well. Christians masses are centered around Jesus's Last Supper and our communion with Him as He did with His Apostles. Jesus's Last Supper was indeed a Passover Seder... a Seder transformed for a group of Jews that were (and us now) followers of Christ - Christains.

    Hey the three cups are like those the first Jewish wedding ceremony. The first is of servitude, the second of friendship, the third you become coheirs. The status of heirs is important, that in the event that one of you dies, the other can still collect the inheritance of the dead spouse. (Our inheritance is the earth, Yeshua's is heaven, together we both get both.) Then the husband goes away to prepare a place for his bride, a place that his father has alloted to him. And the bride must ready herself for the time when he will collect her, a time she does not know and he doesn't announce. I didn't know before about the three cups. But the language Yeshua uses during this event is reminiscent of that wedding ceremony. And now it all clicks!!

      Isaiah 53 in the Jewish book of the prophets is why I celebrate this way. This tells me of redemption planned by God for the Jews. It’s in the Jewish Bible! Just as He promised Abraham, all nations shall be blessed through them. Redemption came from God and He used a Jew to bring it. Read Isaiah 53 in your own Bible and tell me who that may be.

      I’m not sure if you watched the entire video but that is where the afikomen and the last cup of wine is. Jesus was having a Passover Seder with His disciples. Many Christian’s forget that Jesus came as a Jewish man, all the disciples and Paul were Jewish. The Jewishness of Christianity didn’t end for hundreds of years after they were all gone when Constantine decided it didn’t look roman enough. The modern Christianity looks nothing like the original.

    I was adopted to a Christian family and my biological family did not disclose that 4th 5th 6th and 7th generation Grandparents were actually Ashkenazi Jewish and we only recently discovered this after getting into contact with our half-brothers and sisters and biological sisters and brothers who wanted to reconnect when it's done and we got to put the puzzle pieces together and learn a lot about some of her ancestor here's history. And the fact that they had that with my brother and I had Jewish Heritage was really upsetting and it was very disheartening to hear that. And now we're trying to learn warrandyte immerse ourselves into understanding that part of our identity that was lost to us because her biological parents family knew it but never wanted to disclose it before adoption. So I've been wondering does that make my brother-in-law Mike Jewish because we have ancestors who are Ashkenazi Jewish who are from Germany and France along with Ireland believe it or not in a small community in Ireland and I'm just wondering how I go about you no reaching out to the community the Jewish community and will they accept me and my brother the fact that we do have that Heritage and it is part of us and I want to respect and and acknowledge my Heritage and ancestry identity that was lost to me before I was adopted. Is that asking too much, I would I be turned away at a synagogue if I did want to convert 1 mi I have proof my ancestors do have to lineage. I'm trying to understand the ropes about going about and becoming part of the community even though I was adopted into a Christian family they were also sad and just heard that my biological family would not disclose that I have Ashkenazi Jewish Heritage I'm both my father mother side so I'm just wondering how I should go about this any help and test would really be much appreciated thank you.

    • @TracieintheKingdom
      @TracieintheKingdom  Рік тому +1

      In the Jewish community, the lineage is passed down through the mother. If your mother and her mother and her mother, etc. were Jewish then, tada😄, you’re Jewish. Anyone can convert, although from my experience many make that conversion difficult. I don’t think that is out of any type of prejudice or meant with bad intentions. I think it’s to be sure the person is really committed to it. I personally felt called to keeping the feasts days and seeing how they made Christianity make more sense scripturally when I got away from the American church ideal. Jesus (Yeshua) was Jewish! He did all these Jewish things and taught Jewish theology, the disciples continued to be Jewish. Christianity didn’t get weird until the Roman church changed many things. It was a very Jewish faith until then, and in true Roman style, the crusades and persecution started of the very Jewish people Yeshua represented. Studying these things reconnected me to my own Ashkenazic heritage that had been lost down the family line when they fled from France during the Spanish Inquisition. There’s a channel I really like called Jewish mommy life. There are several books I could recommend if you’re interested. Our culture is very interesting and so full of meaning and beautiful traditions that point to a beautiful salvation story

      I have heard from many that reformed Judaism rabbis and synagogues are most open to questions and new comers, but almost everyone I have talked to in the Jewish community have been very helpful, friendly, and excited to share their love for the culture and beliefs in my experience.

    First the Passover Seder in the full Jewish traditions not one mention of Jesus. This is exactly as Jesus started his Seder (His Last Supper). Only when the meal was finished and the Seder for the night has ENDED, then the next story is told of the Passion of Christ with ALL the same symbols in the Passover Seder but now paralleled to Christ (just as He expanded it). Christ based His Last Supper on the Passover Sader, so, for Christains, we should have two Sedars: the Passover and the Passion. One on Passover and one on Easter. It makes total sense.

    • @TracieintheKingdom
      @TracieintheKingdom  6 місяців тому +1

      As a messianic, we also remember the symbolism of the bread and the wine with each start of each Shabbat meal and again on Saturday as Shabbat is closed with Havdalah. I and my family personally celebrate Passover only, because He was sacrificed as the Passover lamb in the Hebrew month of Adar. The reason Passover and the Catholic Easter is separated many times is because one is on a solar calendar and the other on a lunar calendar
      I appreciate your enthusiasm and pray your celebrations are a blessing to you and your loved ones. ❤️

      Thank you for your comment. I hope you have a wonderful Passover. I don’t believe the Seder plate is absolutely necessary or commanded, but I do find it is a useful teaching tool for young kids especially. It bring taste, smell, and sight to the story with many parallels between the fist exodus from slavery and the exodus from the slavery of sin. We have many days of celebration of the Passover and unleavened bread. One of those days I choose to use the Seder plate as a teaching tool, the other days are simpler.
