I can confirm it exists. I have it, on VHS, back when I used an audio recorder to set up personal mixes and recorded videos work off of. I should check to make sure the VHS still works, but yeah, it exists. Didn't know it was any sort of media holy grail though, just a neat song to listen to while heading down to the store, and this one had a Sponge Bob VR graphics play during it.
You might be slightly too young to remember this show. I vividly remember religiously watching this show on MTV/2 back in the early 2000s. My personal favorite was Sims 2 Stacy's Mom.
I remember this show too. Thought it was a fever dream, but in a good way. Especially with songs from the Foo Fighters and The Beastie Boys. All the more reasons why I loved watching this show. Anything that mixes Foo Fighters and The Beastie Boys, and video game shows/characters, is my fucking shit!
Man, you solved this mistery for me! I can recall watching a Mtv Video using Star Wars III game's animation back in 2005, but I never found info about it. Yet, I remember the song being We will rock you instead of Take me Out.
YES! This was the first thing I watched in my pre-teen years when I finally had cable again. I kept digging though MTV until I got whatever music videos they decided to air and stumbled onto Video Mods and was an instant fan. I don't think I ever figured out the schedule so I kept checking in on MTV2 for ANY Video Mods episode.
Seeing Larry Lovage walking next to Spongebob caused me to have a actual outburst of laughter. I can’t fucking believe that’s a actual thing that I would never see in my life.
Omg I realized if this was still around today(which might be soon)we could've had some indie game characters singing skillet and other rock stuff plus rap maybe. Imagine seeing the fnaf characters singing black eye peas or Travis Scott or the angry birds singing paralyzer
In my country they only air this mod videos in between commercials and at midnight on MTV, and for many years I thought the official music video for the Black Eye Peas song "let's get it started" was the mod one with video game characters.
The only version of this I knew was Fall Out Boy x Happy Tree Friends for a song on Infinity on High. Makes sense there’s way, way more to the concept.
I'm one of those who definitely saw the Spongebob/Blink vid growing up. I can't hear the song without thinking about it. so sad it's not around anymore

Those videos convinced me that Hell is a place no longer only accessible after death
"Why is that horny sexed crazed pervert walking next to Leisure Suit Larry" I almost missed that Pan! XD
OH MY GOD!!! I remember the Star Wars one, my dad had it in a CD with animation from newgrounds and music, IN 2005!!!
it felt kinda nostalgic
THEY FOUND ITS NO LONGER LOST
Ladies and gentlemen. . .We got 'em.
God the hype when this was found was so unreal, really funny in retrospect
I envy those who don't know what the Leisure suit Larry games are.
I remember the hell out of these, I'm so glad you did a video on them
They were awful 00's trash in the best way
ALMOST A YEAR TO THE DAY LATER IT HAS BEEN FOUND!!!!!
Seeing Larry Lovage walking next to Spongebob caused me to have a actual outburst of laughter. I can’t fucking believe that’s a actual thing that I would never see in my life.
**kicks down door**
THEY FOUND IT
Seeing SpongeBob next to Leisure Suit Larry's nephew was a total 180
[Anakin:Take me out.]
[Obi-Wan:Okay.]
[Obi-Wan:HIGH GROUND WAS THE CHOSEN ONE!]
Omg I realized if this was still around today(which might be soon)we could've had some indie game characters singing skillet and other rock stuff plus rap maybe. Imagine seeing the fnaf characters singing black eye peas or Travis Scott or the angry birds singing paralyzer
Fnaf singing tally hall? Idk it could work
I would love to see Paramount+ attempt a revival of Video Mods with stuff like Smash Bros and Animal Crossing.
Imagine one with Disgaia 6
In my country they only air this mod videos in between commercials and at midnight on MTV, and for many years I thought the official music video for the Black Eye Peas song "let's get it started" was the mod one with video game characters.
The only version of this I knew was Fall Out Boy x Happy Tree Friends for a song on Infinity on High. Makes sense there’s way, way more to the concept.
I had to look it up, it’s Carpal Tunnel of Love.
@@LARKXHIN yeah that's 2000s af lol
Peak emo
2:44 I'm pretty certain that's normal. The nips is usually is where the certain point to a sphere/ round object in a model rig!
I remember Mars Reviews talked about this. I thought these were like shorts in between commercials not a entire half hour show !
5:57
wow, that line aged surprisingly well.
I'm one of those who definitely saw the Spongebob/Blink vid growing up. I can't hear the song without thinking about it. so sad it's not around anymore
Dude they literally just found it look it up!! :D
I use to think that luigi was in their version of BEPs Shut Up until i watched it again as an adult
We did it gamers
