It is a lead backing track. The guitar you here is the rhythm parts which is important. But as you can hear there no solos or lead fills where there’s supposed to be. So yea it is a backing track.

If you want that, go listen to the damn song that has the whole song. The purpose of this is for people to play the lead part themselves, while the rhythm, drums and vocals are in the background, either for fun or to record themselves, and to avoid copyright violations if posted.

Its a backing track for lead guitar. The rhythm guitar is only there during the solos. Most guitar backing tracks are like that. If you dont understand that dont get agressive man

If I want a rhythm guitar section, I'll friggin' dub in and mix MY OWN guitar wherever on a song that I want. I can do that with free software like Audacity, that anybody can get, and do it on my own. Bass, drums and, hopefully some vocals is what I want . That's it. Don't presume to tell me what I don't "understand" you fukn' goof hack.
