That game of zones episode where melo arrives to Houston takes me out every time 😂
So what happen with him and lakers??
Dope beat wit da video its fits melo
All Eyes on Me
I watched everyone of these guys play in person Mike is the GOAT and the only person that can change that right now is Wemby true fact
Melo always telling us why he was never that dude. But he's a nice guy tho 🫠
He’s not a nice guy, ego is through the roof.
Phil was already gone when the trade finally happened.
The thing is, Melo could shoot so he could easily just play off ball as a solid catch & shooter. But, he wanted the ball to iso like he was used to. He needed to except he wasn’t top dog & transition to a Ray Allen type role. Would of had a better career in his later years that way imo
He was literally stuck in a corner and wouldn’t get the ball for whole quarters when he was playing iso ball he was averaging 22 a game for okc when they stuck him a corner later on in the year he was averaging 14 because he would barely get touches
As a Knicks fan, Melo’s story is nothing but tragic
My guy has an EXCUSE FOR EVERYTHING.
Would have loved Melo onto the 2020 lakers team he would have killed it #mambamentality #purescorer #balller
He was drafted by Denver. When he left Denver Mutombo was still the best player they ever had.
It’s weird that Melo didn’t learn from AI - he went through the exact same thing, Melo should h e seen it happening to him.
They could’ve told Melo exactly what was happening and he wouldn’ve refused to see it
The guy is delusional
THIS
the main lesson would have been to realize that he was out of his prime, and a selfish player who jacks up bad shots while at the same time not playing much defense..... Phil, as well as several of the other players were tiered of Melo in NY as they continued to underperform and Never make deep enough playoff runs.
He clearly wasn't gonna b the guy to get the into the finals, let alone win a ring....
you can't blame Phil for realizing it was time to cut ties and move on. 🤷♂️
They could take his brain now, put it back in his 22 year old body and his career would play out the same exact way and he still wouldn't take accountability.
Yeah 4th option was where you should have been and you didn’t accept it
All them buzzer beaters and clutch shots Melo hit before they stopped giving him minutes and yall wanna say he wasn’t in his prime. Yall acting like he went to be a 1st option he knew he was a 3rd option but to have adams getting more touches is crazy especially when Melo was spotting up at that point of his career
He still thought he should have been the number one option! He truly needed a good friend to talk to him about reality!
He never said he should be #1 dummy literally never once said that ..smh twisting shit like the media smh
Dudes just a diva. 👨🎤
Absolutely
You niggas say anything he gave his opinion and side of what happened. I don’t hear y’all calling Phil Jackson a diva.
Still An All Time Great, 1 Of the most potent offensive players to ever play the game of Basketball 🏀.
U not lying
Shot chucker thats it
He was a bucket but also famously inefficient
As much as i love melo this was on him he a pure scorer nothing more he never hustled on defence and wanted to always do it his way
The Original Carmelo “don’t swing the rock” Anthony
It Is Now Safe To Say Carmelo Anthony Was Overrated. 0 MVPs 0 Rings 0 1 Seed Teams And 20 Players From The 2010s/2020s Are Better Than Him
Hes like the katt Williams of basketball
"Its everyone elses fault"
Bad comparison homie. Katt is the boss of his comedic career. Also Katt knows exactly who the frauds are around him and exposed them while still being in a boss position. Last but not least Katt is on high demand as must watch tv. Melo was on the decline and seemed to be at one point begging for a spot on a team. Jail and Prison not the same thing Katt voice

and it saved his career. in NYC he completely missed out on the evolving game. whenever he got the ball the game went to SLOOOOOOMO 😮 two teams after that he started to work on quick decisonmaking and still had a career as a role player.
Melo had a contract to retire from NY, Phil didn't push him out Melo Left.
First few games in okc melo was the best player on the Team. Look up the stats melo was great!
The moment he left Denver, his prime was over
12-13 was probably his best season, and that was on the knicks
What people dont realize if Roberson would've never suffered that awkward knee injury. This team was heavily favored to win. Roberson was an anchor on defense
It took Russ years to realize it was time for him to step back a little, Melo still thinks he’s in his prime and won’t hear any different.
I woulda loved to see this OKC team win a chip right after what KD did to them
In yours and Melos dreams lol
@@mgene8093 yeah because KD ruined the game with the weakest move in sports history
Then who was the 3rd? Jeremy Grant?
I would say Steven Addams. Big kiwi was Russell's pick n roll game
Steven Adams because he was the defensive anchor and was a perfect fit for Russ because of o boards
I’d say it was jerami grant in the playoffs but it’s interchangeable between melo and Steven Adams for the regular season , Steven Adams had his career high that season and melo was just decent averaging 16
@@okcthunder0872 na Jeremy wasn't even the 4th option during the playoffs he averaged 7ppg an 3 rpg. Steven was number 3 for both reg and playoffs. He shot the best fg% was the defensive anchor and was a massive orb threat. Jeremy came alive the year Carmelo left and was still under steven
melo is closer to iso joe than he is to tmac historically
You didnt choose the bulls you didn't choose the heat, you didnt let Jeremy lin cook after you came off injury. Melo decisions impacted his legacy
Bro still can't recognize that HE was the problem
He’s 1 of the reasons why I respect lebron so much I never understood how lebron gets so much hate but people love shot chucking no defense playing Melo
people just think having an offensive bag means you're great
See (not above) top 50 all time player Kevin Durant@@be4unvme
People love Melo? People think about Lamelo when they hear the name Melo. Not Carmelo. Carmelo is old news and brings his team down wherever he plays. Shot chucker, overly iso player.
He is the Trae Young before Trae Young.
@@muhammadshafeeqbinishak789 bro you’re like eleven you don’t know ball
@@muhammadshafeeqbinishak789 i think that’s an age difference bro. And they weren’t even playing in the same time so that’s weird to say.
Attitude is everything. Play me close; feel me.
He a 🤡
Pass the ball man, you’ll get it back.
He's the common denominator in all his bad situations on all those different teams... So either its his fault or he's the unluckiest dude in the league to go to so many different teams and randomly have problems.
Melo is one of the best scorer of all time. But the problem is that his game didnt evolve. He didnt add anything to his playing style.
This is it. With the way the winning offenses had evolved was more around sharing the ball so in order to get him shots it would have have passing to him on a hockey assist where he is most likely open and most dangerous, pretty much the way he played in LA the last few years but that took the genius of LeBron and their friendship probably to get him to understand where his shots will have to come from to be efficient.
Melo relied too much on his talent. He didn’t wanna put in the same work Wade and Bron did.
Bro said I got Russ and PG like they were the second and third options 😂
Melo hated playing defence, he didn't have the winning attitude.
Melo could have been the 4th option in Miami with Bron and Wade...
Melo and cam newton just reminds me of the same mindset with there careers thinking there still prime time players but nobody wants them and they can’t see why
I hated this for Melo … he definitely had the scoring ability and mentality plus the results to make that team a contender. Russ and PG would have co signed this statement…
Fax russ should have been the 3rd fucking option melo 2. Russ was so bad after his MVP szn
Imagine if he had still been in Denver when Jokic was drafted.
Melo your the common denominator in every situation.
The one dude thats only focused on offense.
If Melo played his role well he would still be in the league. Man wanted all the attention every year.
CHAUNCEY BILLUPS SAID MELO CARED ABOUT SCORING MORE THAN WINNING
He would have the most points in the n b a right now if they would never black balled him
Thank goodness for Phil.
I loved Melo's prime. He was in the top 5 scorers in the league for many seasons.
But he was always a defensive slouch and an attitude problem. He had squads in New York and Denver that were easily good enough to make a deep playoff run. Ultimately, having your top player not have the leadership skills and two-way play required to do it was too much for those teams to overcome.
Now he is acting like a little bitch complaining in the media because he knows his career didn't amount to much.
Melo it isn't everyone else's problem. It wasn't everyone else's fault. And your attitude right now is exactly why you never won anything.
Just accept your career for what it was. You were a great scorer who never won.
Shut up
Yeah because he never actually had any consistent help like other players bron had d wade Kyrie bosh Anthony Davis then Kobe had Shaq then Paul gasol and great roll players he didn't have that even James harden had Chris Paul Russel Westbrook Paul George lmao shut up man he didn't win because no one built a good enough team for him
@@rezinator6663maybe there's reasons why none of those guys ever wanted to join a Carmelo led team 🤔
@@rumba6110No it’s no reason maybe it’s just y’all are upset with the fact of him telling his side. Melo never complained nor did he run away from accountability like guys like KD, and Lebron and for some reason why y’all still have issues with the man.
He wasn’t even a great scorer. He was an overglofied role player
Brah..wished you never came to Knicks.. you took us 10 yrs back..
Besides shooting more spot up 3s, Melos game didn't change AT ALL. He played the same way at Syracyse that he played all the way down to Portland/LA
Phil Jackson literally ruined everything!! He wanted to run the slow ass triangle in the modern era with Derrick Rose on your team! Lmaooo
Melo wasn't hungry when he was young like Wade & Bron. I always felt like he was more concerned about money and shoe deals.
He did well didnt go out terrible like some guys found his role
Melos ego was to blame for him falling out of the league at that time . Blazers saved him .
Melo... after New York, it was over for you
Russ WAS THE SYSTEM in OKC 😂 Dont feel bad melo 😂😂
Always the team
Melo was a great mid range player other than that cant say more
A good player who did not add to his “post up, #1 option” game to have a great career. He remained stubborn to the end
I couldn't even remember him planying for OKC 😂
I know a Lotta hoop heads don't care but Melo got a college national championship and then had a successful career in the league, there's really not a lot of those
Melo you clearly don’t see where you went wrong bro
and does Melo fondly remember when he laughed the reporter out of the room that asked him about coming off the bench to make the OKC team fit together?
Lane eight ;why ask James I know funny😂❤
