Watching this made me so happy!! I've been struggeling with depression and weight gain so much for the past 12 years and in the end of January I made the active decision to let all of this behind me. I'm trying to think more positive, I started to work out regularly, I'm eating more healthily and just getting some self care done. And for the first time since I was 13 I feel like my life is finally becoming something that I can enjoy. It's not easy but this is actually the first time that I've not given up again after a couple of days, I'm not punishing myself anymore if I do something "wrong" like eating too much or skipping a work out and Idk I just feel like I'm finally ready to change and live the life that I missed out on for so many years. And this pandemic actually helps with it a lot. Socializing causes anxiety for me but when I was not socializing I used to feel guilty for not even trying. Now I can do that guilt free and take care of only myself. It also forced me to reduce my grocery shopping, so I'm not buying junk food in the middle of the week while the healthy food in my fridge rots away. Hopefully I'll be in a good place when this pandemic is over so I can start socializing more without crushing all the progress I made.

Yeah, one thing that people always forget to mention on the topic of depression is that happiness can still be achieved and it's not a life sentence in prison. Everyone is different, so we all need different ingredients to start stirring without breaking the spoon. Always using the same ingredients isn't going to make stirring any easier.
