Jawa/Babetta 207 Extreme Tuning 71km/h - 60cc Reed Valve Converted

  • The 60cc insanely tuned babetta 207 is done! ...and is basically a deathtrap with the unmodified frame but it is the most fun bike i have. The reed alve gives it very good low-end torque but also improves top-end performance. talking about top-end performance, the exhaust made by BM Exhaust gives it power and sound like a dirtbike and the only thing missing is a gearbox. Although since this is a bolt-on kit, throwing it on a 210 or 225 block could yield interesting results ;)

    Greetings from the Conflict zone in Ukraine. Cześć! JAWA has saved my life twice this year by being able to ride away when Russian Gestapo soldiers came to napalm our village here: I am not joking. Would love to fly away at 39mph like yours, but I need the balance of reliability compared to speed, as a stock-original JAWA moped, to ensure I can flea the Russian gunfire and gernade shelling, and not experience a no start condition, or a bog down condition, or engine overheat situation. I must be able to flea. JAWA has saved my life and we represent the heart and soul of JAWA and their brilliant Engineers. JAWA for President!

    I have the same exhaust on my 210 motor, installed to 207 frame. Currently hitting 80kmh, need still some more filing on the cylinder and looking to hit 100 when its all ready next summer.
    Also, car speedometers usually show around 5kmh too much, so in this case the top speed for this moped is around 65kmh as you said in this video.

    mennyire lehet házilag tuningolni a 210 est?

      Elég jól lehet a 207-es és 210-est tuningolni azzal a különbséggel, hogy a 207-es böl lehet a legnagyobb teljesítményt kijozni, és a 210-esböl lehet a legmagasabb végsebességet és drágább

    hello would you mind provide some informarions about cylinder? i want to make something similiar to 210 cylinder but i dont know where i can buy 60ccm kit and timinig

      The cylinder is a modified 60cc 207 cylinder which i bought from here: simson-keletimotor-alkatreszek.hu/babetta-207-60-kobcentis-tuning-henger-felujitott-6333 (but the same modifications can be made to a 210 cylinder and will be even more powerful). The upper cooling fins got cut off and i carved out some space for the tomos a35 reed valve. That got attached with some holes i cut threads into and paired with a fully custon intake manifold i commissioned from a local welding company. The exhaust port has been groud to ~180 degrees of duration and the transfers i left alone. I also cut a hole in the piston so it can fully utilise the reed valve.       @@rastislavsvac3521 The transfer duration is isncreased by 2.5mm and the exhaust port duration is ~180° (sorry that i can't define it in mm, it was more convenient to measure it in degrees). The intake if fully open all the time with the port in the piston.

      @@levix_the_birb the exhaust duration 180 degrees equals to around 22-23mm from TDC. You should open trasnfers a little bit, small transfers with small duration causes pumping losses.. anyway, nice project btw! am planning something similar, B210 frame, 207 engine, ex on 200 degrees abd transfers around 130 degrees..
