Hey, loved this series! Very relatable this one as im going through the same process with my r1 so some nice ideas. Do you know what the part number is for the ecu protection, or would you personally do it differently like relocate it if it was your bike ? Thanks!
I haven't got them to hand but if you have a look on ten kates website you can find them. I'm torn between the two but ultimately the relocation to under the seat is probably the safer bet 👍
Decent job Sam, well done
Awesome video!! I love seeing road bikes converted to track. I do the same thing but still ride on road too lol
I'm really enjoing your R1 race bike series. Thanks
Gb racing have an improved pulse cover available that extends up to protect the cylinder.
Yep, seen those, they've been around for a while now. The extra protection of the extended one is definitely good for racing 👍👍👍
What flooring is that in your workshop? Looks good
Hi, they are commercial porcelain tiles, I had them in my last workshop too.

@PalmerPerf_ thanks for the reply. I think im just going to go for the velox extension harness and stick it under the seat👌
Tygon sweats? I've never seen that.
The old stuff way back when never used to but especially over winter in the UK the newer stuff seems prone to it. And I prefer the look of black 😁.
🔥😎
Full Ti Akrapovic ?
Stainless headers, less susceptible to cracking and fatigue and a good cost saving although obviously a little heavier 👍
Don't the slide in connections leak gas? There's nothing to seal them in. I've always been an exhaust sealer and clamps guy😂
They seal well enough when they're new, they do wear over time though, especially the titanium ones.
Would it have been easier for you too take of the front wheel to get more access?
Maybe a little but the easiest way would be to remove the radiator 👍
@@PalmerPerf_ ah ok
Nice job…. Please buy a bike lift!
😁....I get told that a lot but, put simply.....I don't like them 🤷♂
