One of the longest and most brilliant careers in Table Tennis. Timo leaves the scene playing at a high level. He will be missed by his fans
TIMO WIR LIEBEN DICH 😊💙🏓
Timo is so loved by Chinese fans. Not only because of his fantastic performances, passion in table tennis, and how much his excellency motivated the Chinese fans….but more impressively, people respect him so much for his fairness, sportsmanship, calm personality. Basically a great example of classical image of a gentlemen, that is called a “Jun Zi” in ancient Chinese. 🙏❤️ Love Time
My favourite player! It was great to see him playing for so long. Bye Timo!
When you are so loved and admired in China as a table tennis player, it is that you had a spectacular career.
Started playing after watching this guy on Eurosports, 15 years ago. Thank you Timo, love from Portugal 💚❤
Thank you so much Mr TIMO BOLL for what you've done for this amazing game and for your fans! God bless you in your new journey out of table tennis!!!
Timo, you are a role model. cheers from Hungary.

I followed TT sport in the last 30 and more years and I watched hundreds of timo’s matches, we always listened how good he is I would also mention how fair player he is, never heard a wrong word, no complains, always smiling on lost matches, always respectful with all opponents…this is a real good example for all players young and old how they should be. Grazie Timo!!!!!

The current world no. 2, the Olympics champion and arguably the world's best table tennis player Fan Zhengdong was born in 1997.
Timo on the other hand, played his first world championship in 1997. Let that sink in!
What a career 👏🏾👏🏾 Longevity GOAT 🐐
One of the greatest players in TT history. Respect from KOREA.
Thanks for everything and contribution to the sport
Im gonna miss him so much!!! ❤️😭
3:00 i didn't know that. All 3 top chinese players beaten and then it never happened again. It shows the kind of strength it takes to beat china, how strong china is to learn from it and not let it repeat. Thank you Timo. You have been an inspiration to all the table tennis fans around the world.
Danke Timo!

Salamat ng marami
I would love him to try commentating. He’s such a *good* person, and of course incredibly experienced. It’d be amazing to watch a match whilst getting his take on it.
Passionate player..great career
Guy make me love table tennis maybe you read this greetings from Earth
danke Timo
Timo is the kight of TT for me.
Timo is really a great and yet humble player. I guess not even a die-hard fans could remember he still could beat couple of Chinese national team players these few years.
What a legend.. for 20 years he was the only one who compete against the Chinese giant in table tennis ❤
i didnt follow TT in depth unless a swede was sucsessful. lets say when timo came up on the scene, we still had waldner and persson. Then they retired and left a big hole of sucsessful swedish players. But in my eyes, timo was the single european guy who stood up against the chinese players for like 15-20 years the best. no other european during late 00s and 2010s was able to sustain the consistency of play against the top chinese players like timo. TImo will be remembered to me as the lone knight of european table tennis for 15-20 years.
❤❤❤
Ehrenmann!
I am Chinese and I remember he was one of the few that made me scared
danke timo !
If not becoming a coach I'd love to see Timo create a UA-cam tech channel!
One question could have been if Timo will be part of the coaching team for Team Germany in the future
Miss you so much Timo... Xuxin, Timo, and then Malong retired... there will be different era... things will be different without them playing 😢..
Spätestens nach diesen Statements ist klar: Timo IST Tischtennis.
@5:24 is he a right handed golfer !?
Никто не станет таким, как Тимо, он давил китайцев знатно.
🌷👍
GGOAT
Timo and Waldner are the best non chinese players.
OLE OLE OLE OLE Andy Heselmeyer OLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Мог бы и по-русски что-нибудь умное сказать....
you just can not like table tennis and not like timo boll.
the legend who played against 3 generations of Elite Chinese players......
4 I believe, from Kong Longhui to Wang Liqin, Ma Lin, Wang Hao, then Zhang Jike, Ma Long, Xuxin, then Fan Zhendong
@@HSHAZAM fk! this dude really has longevity. gotta be true love for ping pong!
Danke Timo!
Imagine Timo Magic Ball being a coach of German team... That would be awesome!
I doubt it tho bc as he said he wants to be there for his family as he couldn't be for the last 17 years (think he married his wife in 2007 and had his daughter in 2013), and I don't blame him. Ma long doesn't want to be a coach as well, at least I heard, and I think family is still the most important.
@@michikatsutsugikuni3098yeah its such a shame, he would be an amazing coach
I think he‘s too talented to be a good coach cause he might have a hard time to understand why/how students struggle with table tennis cause not everyone is as gifted as Timo.
Dima on the other side might make a better coach cause he has less talent compared to Timo but just trains twice as hard 😂
Have a look at TTD’s videos where Dan is trained by Dima vs when Dan plays with Timo. Dima has so many useful tips and sees exactly what Dan has to change in order to become better.
@@timoernst He's obviously not gonna be a coach for amateur players... And also, it doesn't matter if he doesn't understand the struggles, which he would as a pro, bc a coach observes what you do wrong and tells you what you need to do. You're not gonna be better with less table tennis talent. And it's not like timo has always been a pro. Before the age of 15 he was also an amateur.
After what he said i don't think so ! He wants to spend now more time with his family and this job can't make it easy so.......i am afraid that it is the end of Timo's Ping investment !
