Odd. This Hagen's wire bender is the best wire bender in the price range in my opinion. I got the hang of making good bends in about 2-4 hours and I'm not especially talented. It's never a waste of money, because used wire benders are in short supply on ebay. I did watch the videos, though, from Hagen's and others on line. The Twistech wire bender is also a good wire bender. I had them both. This one has changeable dies to allow you to make both musky and crappie spinners with the same machine.
