- Ryan Crouser throws 69.30m 227' 4" with 1.6kg discus at Concordia Throw Center in Portland, July 2, 2011.
This shows his huge upside in spite of missing most of the season with injuries.
Faint breeze had no impact on distance of discus.
It was close.
The official was opposite the camera and specifically said the foot stayed off the rim.
We don't need slo mos of Crouser throwing. You know what I'm mean..
He is down 13 lbs from indoor season due to inactivity from injuries.
All lifts are well down from PRs...
More than average HS throwers but much less than strong HS football/throwers.
Sounds like he won't go anywhere
Did you coach Ryan with discus Mac ?
How far do you think he would of thrown with out injuries being able to practice alot more.
@safty30 After he threw 237 he said 250 if he hadn't been injured
you insisting that crouser was on a supplement?
nobodies "insisting" anything
right, the good old Crouser genes, just pure hard work, PURE, haha
@safty30
How can you speculate on what might have been?
Easily 240', possibly 250'.
The real measure will be in 2016 to see where Ryan, Mason and Nick V. are.
From that perspective this is all 'just high school'.
we did see him do pretty well in 2016
Damn this comment really aged well
No, Sorry, I don't know what you mean. What do you need?
Or better yet what do you want? Might not be the same thing.
Mac
foul or not good throw i hope the 2k will do even better for him... 16lb has =]
@Dontrevious1153 Before he got injured, he was 300 bench, 300 clean, 375 squat
How much are his lifts? And whats is his powerclean routine like?
Mac, what did Ryan throw as a Freshman?
scratch
It sounded more like he was implying racial purity, or some sort of selective breeding.... which is weirder
