Actually, Da Band was more talented than most other groups, lyrically. Particularly Ness. Ness punchline talent is on Jay-Z level. Chopper is probably the 2nd best rapper out of NO outside Lil Wayne and Freddy P lyrically was better than anyone that came out of Miami besides Rick Ross
I think they were better together than solo artist.
He had to name it "Ness & friends" to avoid getting sued cause they don't own the rights to the name smh
