Great rifle. I’ve been very pleased. I put a vortex razor scope on mine. Pretty heavy but an excellent quality scope

    Hey GunCity,
Just watching this video now, I realized that my Tikka T3 Tac A1 in.223, didn't come with a muzzle break. It only had a thread protector.

No need to fold stock to remove or insert the bolt. Tikka has made cutouts for that on the cheek riser, as on display.

great review. would this be reasonable to hunt with or is it unpractical considering the heavier weight?
    thanks

Hi there, the weight wouldn't be ideal although you could walk with it short distance to set up on bipod and wait for targets. Alternatively, if you are over 6ft with strong physique it would be less of a weight comparatively to a 5'7" guy. - FT

I just bought one in 6.5 Creedmoor and the flash holes on the break do not line up left to right when tightened. I would have to wind out 3/4 turn and use the bolt which is hard to tighten and I'm scared the break will suddenly come loose.

Hi mate, I would suggest contacting the store you purchased the firearm from to see if you can get any details on how to fix this issue! - JK

This is what they use in finnish military if am not wrong

    • @guncitynewzealand

Hi Greghar, you may be right! Although it's also been reported that the Finnish military use the Sako TRG-21 as a long gun. Of course, Sako have owned the Tikka brand for nearly 40 years, so it would make sense for them to mix and match rifles between the two brands. Thanks for your comment! - JK

@@guncitynewzealand In the manual it said you can adjust the trigger to a lighter pull,I did that and it hits a wall where you cannot adjust it lighter,I did that and that is what caused the problem when I closed the bolt handle, after the unintentional discharge I turned it back to the factory setting and it would not discharge when bolt was closed, factory setting is still light but sear is staying put.
