Mona Lissa Emeran, a mom of two, first got involved with Joshua’s Heart Foundation while looking for volunteer opportunities for her son. Now, she is spending her time faithfully giving back to the community that embraced her following a move from Haiti nearly 20 years prior. Twice a week, she drives to pick up fresh bread and pastries from local bakeries to ensure citizens in need have more than just the essentials in their pantry.
