If Nintendo would make a console with true current-gen graphics performance, much fewer PC owners would have any reason to emulate Switch games. The problem is, the Switch hardware was out of date 8 years ago when it was released. Tears of the Kingdom has unacceptable frame dips on Switch. It’s ridiculous. Anybody who wants to play that game in even a solid 40 fps, has to play it emulated on PC because literally Nintendo doesn’t make a console capable of running its own games.
Great video, every single detail was included. I agree, the PC and Switch games shouldn't be included there and we could say we have the definitive retro HDD. And well as you said the controls for Wii are a pain in the .... 😅 They tried their best and it is very good actually
after i got an handheld with 128gb of roms, i realized i dont have time to play that many games... who the f has time for 12TB but doesnt have time to search and download 10 games that he actually wants to play
what we need is a 5tb harddrive 2,5 inch without windows PC Games without handheld games under 140 bugs with more first XBOX, PS1, PS2, PS3, Sega Saturn, Dreamcast, Wii, WiiU, Switch, Games. without the old retro trash games
i will disagree with the comments on switch 100%... that is really the main reason i'm thinking about getting this, ps2, ps3, wii, gamecube files are so easy to get, but switch? nope, and the big N is making it even harder, even attacking channels just for posting a clip of their games. (be careful) honestly i think if i could get a drive with just switch files for like $100 i'd happily order that. i believe i saw that they have a complete lack of gran turismo games (granted i already have those, but weird they were left out) and few role playing games, yet they have like every year of most football games? ps2 had so many great RPGs, why were they left out? seems odd.
It's really no different from all the preloaded handhelds everyone buys, do I agree with all of it ? No definitely not but they're out there and at least with videos like this people can get an idea of what to expect. Whether youtubers cover them or not there's still going to be sold because there's a demand for them, and seeing how popular they are I'd say a pretty decent amount so we might as well see what's worth it and what's not.
@@AishTalksTech It's a fair enough argument, but at least the handhelds have something more tangible about them. People are going to do what they're going to do. Something about the hard drives specifically kind of just rubs me the wrong way.
@@animalhouse8849 I get that, it feels like a lot less effort gets put into a drive vs a handheld, I can see why that would rub you the wrong way. To kinhanks credit this at least seems to have a decent library and isnt full of multipe copys of the same game.
When they get the complete PS2 and equal and PS3 and equal that's when they'll get my money. There are approximately 658 PS2 games on this and only 10 are RPGs and that's bull crap!
@@AishTalksTech Wow, that's something I did not know. How many games were there for PS2? The 12tb has 650. I have the original 12tb kinhank hyper spin and I am happy with everything up to PS1 but everything higher RPGs don't exist. I was shocked that there was no witcher fallout or FF on the PS2 or 3. And I bought the ser8 and everyone that makes videos says that everything works perfectly on the ser8 but that's not the case for me. I started with PS1 RPGs and they all temporarily freeze when changing screens or after saving and continuing. And 3ds doesn't play at all neither does most Xbox 360 and PS3. Unless I have to change things which none of the content creators mentioned. And some games say English or Japan translated to English and it's not true. I wish I knew how to do things or people would make better videos on how to change things. Most everyone that makes videos are only helping those that pretty much already understand all this stuff but for old disabled people like me the content creators show us nothing that makes sense. How nice it would be if someone actually made a video showing how to make a game that is not running great run great many say things like change frame skip or lock frame skip but don't take 20 seconds to show what they are talking about. I have watched over 40 of you for 4 years now and haven't learned a thing because no one actually shows what they do they just say do it but don't show how. It's extremely frustrating.

Anyone know if this will work on Linux?
It's meant for windows but you can still access all the games on Linux, you just have to set up a front end yourself.
Damn 180 and it won’t let me buy.
There has to be a link to download this...
Google is your friend
@@AishTalksTech I tried and failed miserably..
Hey guys, does anyone think this would work connected to a XBOX Series X in dev mode.
I don't think it would since it's made to work with windows, unless you just want it for the roms but I'm not familiar enough with how the Xbox treats external drives.
Anybody who wants to play that game in even a solid 40 fps, has to play it emulated on PC because literally Nintendo doesn’t make a console capable of running its own games.
all those sports games and movie tie-in games is a waste of storage space but otherwise looks great
Great video, every single detail was included. I agree, the PC and Switch games shouldn't be included there and we could say we have the definitive retro HDD. And well as you said the controls for Wii are a pain in the .... 😅 They tried their best and it is very good actually
Thanks man they did a good job with what's there I just hope they improve it and realize that it can be better.
Yep. Less switch 👍
Can u easily delete games u dont want off of it
Yes you can remove any game you don't want.
Yeahh but is there malware?
@@sadistical5787 I rant it a few times and didn't find anything I wouldn't expect to find with cracked games.
Less PC games and more switch games
Nothing to see here big N move along 😂
after i got an handheld with 128gb of roms, i realized i dont have time to play that many games... who the f has time for 12TB but doesnt have time to search and download 10 games that he actually wants to play
The reality is no one does but some people really have a hoarders mentality with things like this.
PC games should of been retro games you can not buy
@@johncalabro8710 I completely agree with that, it would have been cool to get a huge collection all set up.
what we need is a 5tb harddrive 2,5 inch without windows PC Games without handheld games under 140 bugs with more first XBOX, PS1, PS2, PS3, Sega Saturn, Dreamcast, Wii, WiiU, Switch, Games. without the old retro trash games
i will disagree with the comments on switch 100%... that is really the main reason i'm thinking about getting this, ps2, ps3, wii, gamecube files are so easy to get, but switch? nope, and the big N is making it even harder, even attacking channels just for posting a clip of their games. (be careful)
honestly i think if i could get a drive with just switch files for like $100 i'd happily order that.
i believe i saw that they have a complete lack of gran turismo games (granted i already have those, but weird they were left out) and few role playing games, yet they have like every year of most football games? ps2 had so many great RPGs, why were they left out? seems odd.
Yeah some of the decisions on PS2 games are a little strange
Nintendo about to strike this video 😒
Well I didn't show a single Nintendo game so let's hope not 😁
So much community volunteer work stolen and packaged for profit. Pretty unsettling.
@@deathtooglobalists6891 you would need a 20 TB drive just for the PS2...
@@AishTalksTech Wow, that's something I did not know. How many games were there for PS2? The 12tb has 650. I'm fine with how many TB it would take or at least there be 50 to 100 RPGs out of the 650 on the 12tb. It has like 10 which is absolute bull!
