Shyama shyam saloni surat ko shingaar basanti hai
(The beautiful couple Shri Radha Krishn are adorned in the unique yellow color of 'basant' (spring season))
Mora mukut ki latak basanti,
(The slight sway on the peacock-crown on Shri Krishn's head is yellow)
Chandrakala ki chatak basanti,
(The 'chandrakala' (the teardrop-shaped pattern on the crown) is yellow)
Mukha murali ki matak basanti,
(His enchanting flute is also golden yellow)
Sir pe pechh, shravan kundala chhavidaar basanti hai
(The cone-shaped design on His crown (pechh) and His beautiful earrings are also golden)
Mathe chandan lagyo basanti,
(The fragrant sandalwood paste applied on His forehead is yellow)
Kati peetambar kasyo basanti,
(The 'peetambar' tucked in His waist is also yellow)
Mere manmohan basyo basanti,
(My Shyamsundar looks extremely beautiful dressed in all yellow)
Gunjmaal gal sohe, phulan ko haar basanti hai
(He is wearing a large garland consisting only of yellow flowers)
Kanak kadoola hast basanti,
(Shri Radha and Krishn are wearing golden yellow bangles in Their hands)
Chalen chaal alamast basanti,
(They are walking leisurely in this basant season)
Pahar rahen sab vastra basanti,
(The yellow clothes are fluttering as they walk)
Runuk-jhunuk paga noopur ki jhankaar basanti hai
(Even the jingling sound of their golden anklets sounds very sweet)
Sang gwalan ko tol basanti,
(All the sakhis and sakhas are also wearing yellow clothes)
Baje chang dhap dhol basanti,
(The musical instruments like 'dhol', 'chang' (a type of bell) and 'dhap' (tamorbourine) are decorated in yellow)
Bol rahen sab bol basanti,
(In this beautiful basant season, everyone is joyfully talking and singing)
Saba sakhiyan mein radhe ju sardar basanti hai
(Above all the sakhis, looking extremely beautiful in the yellow shringar, is my dearest Kishori Ji!)
Param prem parasaad basanti,

Radha Kunj Radhey Radhey, yes i saw the lyrics mentioned beneath the video. Was curious about the book since I couldn’t find it in PRM, BRM, YM...but thanku once again for the recording since i heard this for the very first time and in the right season! :) Just a suggestion: The mic of the singer has some echo...so when we play it loud (on speaker or casted on tv) sometimes the dholak sound or clapping sound overpowers and the lyrics of the singer are not clear. Please do look into it. I love listening to all weekly releases of Radha Kunj bhajhans and also pass them onto other devotees!
