I really appreciate your work. I use a simple pullback swing trading strategy similar to your RSI pullback strategy. In back-testing for trades w/ price pulling back to at least the 20 EMA, and stochastics(5,2) oversold, I've noticed that in the vast majority of successful swing trades, MACD is above zero, but below it's signal line. Would this be consistent w/ your findings over the yrs? Again, thx for the consistent excellent education.
I apologize. I should have specified that I'm using a weekly/daily combo. MACD above signal line on weekly, below on daily. I guess my point is that it seems that as long as +DI is above, or at least close to -DI on daily, MACD vs signal line orientation doesn't seem to matter. Any insight would be appreciated. Thank you.
Yes, but it does depend on its position relative to zero line sometimes. If it is well above zero, I have found the whole signal takes more time to develop. I explain this in detail in the course.
do you any vidoes on the sqeeze. At the 400 level in the stock when the macd was making lower low there was a tight sqeeze(consolidation) happening. The breakout of the consolidations are the best time if we know prio which direction the breakout will be. Is there a way MACD can predict the breakout direction of this consolidation at 3:10
Can you also do a video on how to find out themes in play like last month quatum, btc etc were the theme. Anyone who were in these stocks made huge money.

Well I am only looking to play to the upside in this case. It is a reverse divergence above zero line.
