Zee you also missed the two other win conditions (which usually close the game earlier than the points, at least for my group: building all walls, having all tiles flipped)
I played with three people at Essen and was really taken aback by the "pinball-like" randomness of the pieces moving around. Not to mention how mean this game was. Maybe we got in with the wrong expectations but that was not an enjoyable experience
Fix Game: Each player has 6 cards (one for each action choice). You can use any card still in your hand; or spend a turn (or a point) to retrieve all your cards. Game ends when all players have at least three of each item in play; or possibly when all bonus cards have been claimed?
I have played either 3players and 2 players games and have enjoyed it too much. The dice manipulation by spend VP and the interaction work really well for me and my partner (in the 3p game, one of the players did not enjoy it)
Sïlk is some of the biggest disappointments in recent gaming for me, they have great and production, very attractive theme and ideas and ends up just being a very much meh game. I got used that it's the case for Plaidhat Games (for me, at least), but seeing a new indie publisher making the same high production/meh gameplay game is sad.
Just to clarify, Devir is far from being an indie publisher. They are distibutors in Spain and almost all Latin America of most of the popular games out there: catan, Carcassonne, Pandemic, CGE games, Sagrada, star realms, Century, Scythe just to name a few. They are kind of new in publishing original games, but, again, most of the games that we latinos can play come from them.
Sad you didn't like the game. We, me and my wife, we are having a very good time playing it with friends. Is an awesome filler to play between two big games, imo. Easy to teach, a lot of fun.
Wouldn't a person who herds worms be a wormherd rather than a shepherd?
Omg

You like the "spin" on the theme ;P

Not a bad idea. Definitely a game that I feel could be supplemented with some house rules.
Thanks! Was a bit hesitant about this when it came out and you just confirmed my decision to pass.

Great game, I love it and so does my play group
The same in my group. We all agree is a great game, and a very good filler.
Looks like Carcassonne Agricola.

@@bastiant8220 Scythe distributor in spain is Maldito Games.

@@hellboy7424 yep, and in latin america the games from maldito are distributed by Devir Latam.
@@bastiant8220 Are you sure, bro? I have looked at the Devir Latam page. There's Catan, Fyrefly, Century ... but there's no sign of Scythe.
