    I pulled out my 7/16 crown stapler on the last set of cabinets I built and found it to be quicker and just as solid as screwing them together. As a bonus the staples are also cheaper. Thanks for the tip! I enjoy your videos!

    Lots of other folks on youtube never use melamine or particle board but I’ve noticed you use a lot of it. Maybe a video on why? I’ve been conditioned on here to believe MDF/particle board bad, Baltic birch good.
    Thanks again!

    Thank you Wes for step by step cabinet building. I’m making a pair of cabinets for our bathroom. I’m very unsure about the type of hinges to use. Awesome! I have never been a huge fan of melamine but it sure does have its place in terms of cost, workability, stability, durable finish, etc... I think I will make some shop cabinets just like this. What are your thoughts about making the finished end panels 7/8" proud of the cabinet box to flush out with the cabinet doors? Also why do you like salice over blum? Is it a regional thing because blum is king here on the west coast :) thanks

    • @WoodworkingWithWes
      @WoodworkingWithWes  10 місяців тому +1

      Hi...the size of end panel is a personal preference, so which ever you like. I have used
      Blum hinges also and they are great; salice has adjustment features I like better. Thanks for watching, Wes

    If you were building the cabinet with a face frame, which would you apply first: the 1/4 back board or the face frame to square thing up? (Thanks for all the advice already)

    • @WoodworkingWithWes
      @WoodworkingWithWes  10 місяців тому
