I was 7 years old when you made your cup debut Jimmie and been following you ever since. From seeing you win 5x at Texas in '07, '14, '15 sweep, and 2017, to seeing you win 7 championships. Thanks for the memories and good luck the next two years! I will be rooting for you Jimmie! 💪
Oh my god I’m bawling. You have changed my life forever. I literally can’t explain how much you have done for me. I’m a race car driver because of you, I’m chasing my dreams because of you, I have become the person I am today because of you. Thank you.
Man, this is it. The legend I look up to the most will have his final race in NASCAR tomorrow. All I just wanna say is thank you. Thank you for all the memories and excitement you’ve been giving us throughout the years of this sport. Since I was 4 years old, I began watching the sport, and it didn’t take long until you soon became my favorite driver. I knew one day you were going to retire, but I didn’t know when. From driving motorcycles to fully functional stock cars, that proves that it doesn’t matter how you start, but how you finish. Let’s bring it home in Phoenix, #OneFinalTime
My gosh. I couldn't love this more. Never has NASCAR been graced with a man of such class and grace and it's likely it never will again. Thank you for the years, Jimmie!
This vid really kinda made it finally set in. One final race. Don't know how you became my favorite back in 07 but im glad you did. Even after not watching the sport for 2 years and seeing you struggle you never changed. Thank you for the memories JJ48

We have been fans of the 48 and Jimmie Johnson since 2011, in his great Talladega career. Since that year our fanaticism for him began and they were very good years that we will never forget; It will be very sad not to be able to see him drive the 48 next season but all of us who followed him knew that one day this would happen even if we did not accept it, open many good drivers but none could match it. Greetings from Argentina
Damn onions. I've been rooting for you since I was 9 years old and Jeff Gordon tapped you to drive the car he owned. Its been a hell of a ride Jimmie and I'm so glad I got to see every second of your amazing career.

I can’t believe Jimmie and Jeff are both gone 😭 I used to go to my grandpas every 2 sundays and watch them as a young boy now he has passed and the drivers we watched together are slowly slipping away
Jimmie for 19 years you've given us fun, excited, nail biting, heart wrenching racing and NASCAR will never be the same after this #onefinalride. The race where you hit that fence head on and got out and climbed on the rooftop ....It was at that instance I became your #1 fan and I knew you were gonna be a legend. Thank you Jimmie. It’s been a heck of a ride and I watched it ahhhhhhlllllllll. I can’t forget 2006, when you won your first Championship, I still have the jacket and wear it proudly.I remember taking the Monday off because the Aarons 499 at Talladega was rained out on Sunday, it started at noon, I had a feeling that you would do well and you, Chad and the boys dominated that race. You won the Daytona 500, the Brickyard 400, then the Championship and a pile of other races. I looked at my buddies at work and said “see, I told you, Jimmie would be a Champion”. No one could do a diagonal, drifting burnout like you either, and still hold the checkered flag in his hand ha, haaa. I still have all your diecast cars in memory of all the greatness that you’ve achieved and the sport will never be the same without you. I will be watching Indy in hopes of you winning the Indy 500 and hoisting a Championship trophy there too. I hope your wife and kids are doing well after the COVID-19 scare. The best of luck to you and stay safe, both on and off the track. Cheers, from a diehard Canadian #48 fan. 🙏🤙🥂🍻🏎🏎🏎🏎🇨🇦🇺🇸
Jimmie you are a amazing person I am so happy that I was able to see you win several races in person. I have to admit it almost got old watching you win so much at times, but you were always a respectful awesome person and that is so important in todays world. Thank you for being a man of honor and integrity when so much in this world is not honorable, it great to have people with a platform that are. Thank you and enjoy your well earned retirement. I hope that you are remembered as a hall of fame driver for sure but also as a hall of fame person who did not change with fame and money. Well done my friend! Enjoy your retirement whatever that may be to you and your family !
I have been a fan since 2003. I feel so fortunate to have been there to see one of the greatest to have ever done it. I only got to see you race three times in person because I have no racetracks near me but you won 2/3. They are memories that I will never forget. Two in Texas and one at the Roval this year to say goodbye. Flew From Portland Oregon to Charlotte having made arrangements before Covid-19. I was broken hearted when I couldn't tour the 48 shop because of Covid. But I still loved being in Charlotte for the race. Go be a Champion off the track and live your best life. You have earned it!!
I remember when Johnson won his first at Fontana, thought man this is cool what a great driver he is. Then he won his 5th straight championship, thought I cannot wait until he stops winning every damn race. Now, I hope he wins Phoenix tomorrow. Thanks Jimmie.
To me you are the best nascar pilot of all time. 7 nascar championship titles and the most fairplay driver. What a magnificent handover with "Chaise-Eliot" Bravo and MERCI de FRANCE

Man I feel like I wanna cry foo. I've been a fan of you'rs since 2002. I remember you're first win at Auto Club Speedway in 2002. To seeing you win all those races at Auto Clb Speedway, I was there for the win in the Lowes/superman car back in 2016, and I called it saying to my parents in the grandstands after that race saying, Jimmie is gonna won the championship this year, and you won the 7th. I screamed so much when you won the 7th title. All the wins at Dover, Texas, ACS, Martinsville, Daytona, Talladega, etc. Have a good retirement from full time NASCAR racing. Enjoy Indy cars. I'll be watching for damn sure, just like I'll be watching the final full time cup race tomorrow.
It will be very difficult to not see you in the lineup next season but I wish you nothing but the best for you and your family. You have given this Nascar fan a lifetime of memories, thank you Jimmie!

I hope at least you get a Top 10 and hopefully a win on your final start
#OneFinalTime
When I was a kid I turned on the TV after I came home from school and saw Jimmy win. For some reason I stuck with him. A year or 2 later he wins his first championship and we know the rest of the story. I'm now 22 and into racing and cars. Thank you for the inspiration.
