Awesome vid as always 😊 the whole unnatural hatred of Paul Daniels made me lol. It reminded me of when I was a kid, Noel Edmonds turned up at my cousin's school to do that thing where he sort of goaded children into making twats of themselves on TV by talking about things they blatantly didn't understand...ANYWAY apparently Edmonds turned up and was a complete bell end, refused to meet anyone outside of filming, and sat in his car all day and was actually rude to the actual kids. Great video! MASK 2 to me is more 6/10, mainly due to the presentation. As for Ninja Master, I've never played it - on any system! Anything by Tynesoft IS a crime to whatever machine they brought out stuff for.

Yeah, was bonkers really that her pics were readily available in the daily scum and yet martech thought it would work in a poker game, grainy as anything.

I did get some enjoyment out of it to be fair - I thought it was reasonable enough for the money. Sinclair User did savage the game as well - awarding one star and mentioning that it was "so bad at least one other major publisher rejected it" - pretty damning. That Sam Fox review 😂

I remember buying Ninja Master for the Amstrad CPC from a local newsagent. Guess it was the £1.99 price tag that won me over. Certainly remember the first stage.
@SebsPlaceYT it was bad, I remember getting p*seed off with it pretty quickly. With my £2 weekly pocket money, it bought me a new game every week (Apart from Amstrad Action publication week). I bought Fighting warrior and Jailbreak on the Speccy - Fighting warrior was ok (ish) but Jailbreak was also a bit of a turd on the machine. Morris minor was a classic for the wrong reasons.
My sister and my cousin loved Five Star. System Addict (is that what it was called?) was a decent track but I much preferred listening to my brother's copy of Peter Gabriel's So. Ah, the summer of 86, happy days!
I had Ninja Master on my Speccy. I paid for it. I must admit to enjoying the rudimentary mechanics of the (mini) games, aaaaaand I played it quite a lot. I'm easily pleased, I guess. #noregrets

I actually enjoyed this one. Wasn't bad as it got harder as the belt levels went up. 2 player beating each other's scores. It was a cheap Ninja Hyper Sports really. Firebird released an even worse game called Kai Temple... That deserved 0
Mask II a far departure from the decent first game from Gremlin software. They are public domain free downloads straight from Gremlin. Watched the cartoon series back in the day. Too bad the second game was as bad as it was. Ninja Master is beyond terrible. Ninja games are supposed to be at least good.
I've never been unfortunate enough to play Super Gran, but it looks absolutely horrendous, I've typed games from a magazine that look more enjoyable lol. The worst game I've ever played has to be The Election Game, at least it was a budget title, but it had to be the most awful game on the Mastertronic Label and for some reason they had the nerve to charge £2.99 instead of £1.99 for that piece of trash.
So, Jail Break says graphics by Mark Jones ... but is that 'A', or 'R'?? Not like I ever would have known the difference, before a certain vid I watched yesterday ...

My sister and my cousin loved Five Star. System Addict (is that what it was called?) was a decent track but I much preferred listening to my brother's copy of Peter Gabriel's So. Ah, the summer of 86, happy days!
@@raithrover1976 also a banger 👍
You know you can switch vehicles in Mask, right?
I figured you must be able to with picking 3 characters. I was just having too much fun in my flying delorean 😁
I liked ninja master on the spectrum
I've not played the speccy version in years. I'm gonna have to compare!
Jail Break don't be cruel
I bought Ninja master but didnt play it for long
I had Ninja Master on my Speccy. I paid for it.
I must admit to enjoying the rudimentary mechanics of the (mini) games, aaaaaand I played it quite a lot.
I'm easily pleased, I guess.
#noregrets
Yes! So therefore I'm right, and although it is crap, for a couple of quid, it passed some time! Cheers!
@@SebsPlaceYT Remember that physical electronic game with the chap in a karate suit? The one where you'd have to move his limbs to cover little red lights? It was pretty cool, I always regarded this game as the digital equivalent.
This one...

I don't remember that but I want one now!
Maybe not...... how much! www.ebay.co.uk/itm/176682174536?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=_CzyFE_HSFm&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
I actually enjoyed this one. Wasn't bad as it got harder as the belt levels went up. 2 player beating each other's scores. It was a cheap Ninja Hyper Sports really.
Firebird released an even worse game called Kai Temple...
That deserved 0
Yeah, it's terrible but not zero terrible.
Considering everything else wrong with the game, should I really be nit-picking the spelling of Tournament of Death?
Oh no, my typo or theirs? Is a really crap game though. I hate it.
Oh, I just spotted it on the cover art!!!
I was expecting it to be the C16 version of commando
Ha - yes I've played that! (See my Commando video) it is pretty awful 😁
never bought that game , but I did but the game don't buy this
I loved footballer of the year
Oh...not on the c16 though. It doesn't look great on that haha
Ha yeah, I loved it too! On the Speccy!
Mask II a far departure from the decent first game from Gremlin software. They are public domain free downloads straight from Gremlin. Watched the cartoon series back in the day. Too bad the second game was as bad as it was.
Ninja Master is beyond terrible. Ninja games are supposed to be at least good.
Ninja Master looks so bad I'm sure you could make a better game in BASIC.
Lol, I had Election. No idea what made me buy it. 😁
So, Jail Break says graphics by Mark Jones ... but is that 'A', or 'R'??
Not like I ever would have known the difference, before a certain vid I watched yesterday ...
Haha! It would be the other Mark Jones
But I want do download the music. :)
😂😂 send me your email address and I'll send you a copy 😁
@@SebsPlaceYT yeay... That vid was nostalic. There were lots of baaaad games on the C64 (that I played alot).
Another boring b-side
Another load of crap
It has no redeeming features
And we're really proud of that
Ooooh another verse 😁😁
"Every Second Count" can't even spell CATEGORY correctly.
Ha! Sooooo bad!
I would subscribe but you’re evidently a Spuds fan so I can’t sorry
😂😂 fair.
What is going on here? A lot of these games were on the Speccy and were a lot better than all this nonsense.
Yes very true, actually, which is odd. Especially Elevator Action! That is proper crap on the C64!
@@SebsPlaceYT BTW Love the music at the end 💖
😁😁
Finally, ive seen sam foxes badly digitised b00bs. ❤
Sooo many terrible games, although I'm fairly sure they all are on the c64 👏
😂😂 b00bs!
