They look damn near identical to my wolfram PT-18's with everything but the motors, mine are 4in PE flat wound coils 4k rms each with ferrite motors and I paid $650ea shipped lol

I had a feeling you were gonna go w these. I considered a 4 inch coil, but only being able to run 12's in my Mercedes, it doesn't leave much room for spider and excursion. Atleast that's how I felt about it. But perfect for some 18's!
I have 4 12" Walmart subs(power acoustik) powered by a taramps smart 5k in the trunk of my Mercury Milan. They meter at 151db. I can imagine how loud these 18's are gonna be!! Nice upgrade Jacob!! I'm thinking of getting better more powerful subs too. P.S. thinking of getting these in 12"

Jesus man lol, I just picked up two B2Audio Riot 10's and having a local box maker make up a custom box, powered by a JP23. That's like comparing a 6inch driver to a 21, that'll be a crazy setup

TI basket isn't an uncommon thing,big whoop. 4 inch could doesn't mean a thing when the BL is lower as a Skar DDX lmao. Scott once made some of the baddest subs on the market before selling Re to USAmps. The only sub they had that specs out okay is the Team series. And that's just Okay. Pride also specs out horridly. DD,Sundown,DC,B2,Incriminator Audio all have subs that have been DATs tested and did very well.
Ever think about doing your doors for stereo experience on mids/highs? Single center channel kinda leaves me wanting to see more attention in that area.
Super badass subs man are you not into 6th orders I guess 6th are more super low and windy bass from what I've seen. With a lil higher fs seams like your going for loud and good sound.
Cool looking subs. You should check out the TS parameters page. These subs have the most pitiful usable motor force I've ever seen. Less then a skar ddx. Hard to believe but it's true. Stiff soft parts, low motor force, they take lots of power to get moving. People swear by them tho, so idk. Real world is always different then on paper. Kinda. Good luck!
I've been spamming about their dog shit parameters everywhere. Disgraceful really. Especially since my profile pic is a Q Neo I had in a daily. Didn't do horrible. Got plenty loud. But the hz range had huge roll off at around 35hz. It would hit the lows great. Box was made for it too. I directly swapped it for a IA DP 12" and noticed the difference immediately. Hit from 19hz to 45 hz no problem. Tried another box for the Fi. Same issue. So I sold it. But on the low end it absolutely killed it....And that's really about it lmao.
Hybrid terminals allow better flow based on what I've read bcuz there's more surface area and less solder joints. However, Fi does use enhanced push terms allowing less of a bottleneck than most sub companies.
Your box looks raw on the inside does priming or resin inside a box benefit at all in your opinion. But actually the rest of the box is sealed with the 3m tape on the ported chamber.
custom boxes are always the best not prefab and affect output greatly. Also, get an optimal sized box to fit in the area utilized with good cone area of subs.
@@JacobViral I'm sure you probably have but if you haven't definitely watch the dyno review on that Taramps smart 5K. Has huge burst power. They even burst it at a half ohm and got 10K out of it. Big power for the $$ and it has dual 0 gauge inputs

It can help ever so slightly with wind turbulence and completely being sealed/ smooth.

Run a Taramp HV 20,000 dirt cheap lots of reliable power.
If you put mirrors around the walls in front of the subs that would look dope
Vibration would be rough on them though, nice idea though
