I had an electric toothbrush that used ordinary batteries before but it didn't last long since it was not waterproofed. Most electric toothbrushes nowadays are using the rechargeable batteries that are not removable/replaceable.
It's unbelievable that companies are still allowed to sell gadgets with sealed nickel metal hydrate batteries. I thought I had solved my toothbrush dilemma by buying this and now I realize that I just have to buy another stupid toothbrush. Very much not happy with Braun for this
@@HiTechTaBai The EU should not allow companies to sell anything without lithium battery now. It's 2024. Otherwise just allow for rechargeable double a or AAAs

Some repair vids replenish the gear housing with a dab or two fresh food grade silicone grease to keep it lubed and run quieter.
Got same brush pero delayed start sya. Battery replacement din po ba for my brush?
Kailangan i-test if battery or the motor is the culprit or just misalignment ng mga gears inside.

Actually, the original battery was Ni-Cad. I replaced it with Ni-MH since Ni-Cad has battery-memory effect.
