    Just started ordering stuff from Wolfram. Hell of a lot quicker than trying to order from Hong Kong.

    Dear Clint, thank you very much for putting this video on 'the tube' making it very clear and sound to me WHAT to do now that 'our well known' personal rc community, at least witch i'm taking part of in this region of the world, for whom i can speak into a shocking dead stop....... For all the good reasons and all the healty ones. My name is Raymon and i live in the Netherlands, i'm 42 and starting to instanly love rc cars especially at the age of 6.
    Still learning........
    I will participate the drifting scene (at reasonable social saftey procedure) by start showing my learning curvature right at the restart of the humain green lights when (or maybe even IF......) the pandemic seems fairly under control on serveral locations in my country.
    Till then i will practice at home with a 1/28 car of what brand it is i keep unnoticed by all means, and further on progressing 2022 i try to purchase me one of them beautyfull Atomic DRZv2 kits to enjoy the art of drifting a tiny rc car around the available trackline or such as.
    I must say Atomic RC does understand racing on all levels, making enjoyable high quality cars, engines and rc components based on experience. The same for still making it affordable driving finances through this tough financial times buissiness-wise and all enthousiasts costumer-wise.
    I wish everybody a huge uplifting, healthy, progessfull and lovely new year (wheather or not you have somthing with rc doesn't matter to me in this sentance) so cheers!!! And again thanks Clint, Wolram RC, tungsten-carbide cutting tools, my tube, yours just as well, the whole global rc community and Atomic RC

    I know you would be a little more biased since you only atomic but I just bought my first mini z and I bought the ma020 all-wheel drive. I'm looking to build my first one so I know how they come together and how they come apart and then I'll have the men easy to run while I'm building the car. I haven't decided if I want the atomic or the xrx seems like the xrx is winning out for me right now have you had a chance to try one

      I had the ma030 and loved it! Great car. I think for drifting though I would stick to a drift specific car.

    I connect my drz to everything and the foward and reverse work but the steering no matter what I do goes to the right . And it won’t budge unless I turn it off any recommendations?

      Hey Andy - thanks for the comment and sorry to hear you are having difficulty with the electronics. I would triple check you have the servo and ESC plugged into the correct channels on the receiver, then I'd test to see if the gyro is installed correctly. A bit hard to say anything more without seeing it myself.

    What is the track width (center of one wheel to center of the other) of this model? Thanks!

    • @clint_thayer
      @clint_thayer  3 роки тому

      For the RCP track it is typically 50cm sections and range from 2 to 3 sections. rcptracks.com

    generally a large scale basher over here, but i've been thinking of grabbing one of these little guys to screw around with on my basement floor. how's the stock servo/esc/gyro on this thing?

      @clint_thayer  3 роки тому

      It will definitely get you running. Upgraded elements will be smaller and easier to place.

    Did you experience any splitting on the front ball ends when putting them on the upper and lower control arms?

      Sorry for the delay - Not with this car, but I've had issues in the past. I suggest getting a pack or 3 of them to have around just in case. Do you have a vendor you purchase from?

  • @johnfaustus1
    @johnfaustus1 2 роки тому

    I know Atomic is a sponsor, but man you must have hit the jackpot with your DRZV2 if you claim "there were no issues". I've never heard of anyone not having to hack/sand/trim the crap out of this kit to have it go together smoothly.

    • @clint_thayer
      @clint_thayer  2 роки тому

      I think it’s generally understood that most kits, from a wide range of companies have things that need to be taken care of. Tasks like shimming and sanding are a part of the process. I don’t note them in this video mostly because most assume this level of work is needed.
      Thanks for visiting.
