As a member of the U.S. military, if you want them to stop sending aid in the form of weapons and ammo, you better be prepared for them to send my brothers, sisters, and me instead. The cost of decommissioning this equipment is very high; therefore the USA sends this equipment to Ukraine and secures, guarantees jobs for American citizens. They create improved equipment and increase the capabilities of the USA in an event that requires the use of the equipment. Actually if the people would “ Fact check” how much actually goes to Ukraine in foreign aid is not even closely proportional to the aid in $ allocated. Portions of these funds are being used to reinforce military facilities in Europe as well.
