Thats the entire purpose of what we do...has really nothing to do with the subject... rather to spend time together. Appreciate the comment!

My Carbon rival factory test target shot a .223” group. 300 PRC. Heck I can’t even duplicate that tight of a group yet. But it’s for sure a solid 1/2” gun no doubt.

I've been considering a fierce rifle for about 2 years now but best price I can find on a carbon rogue is $2000 shipped, no tax. I've never had my hands on one but I think I want one. That said, I took my factory Tikka rifles (all new), 300WM, two 30-06, a 6.5CM, and a 7-08 to the range today. I do handload but only used factory ammo today. All shot 1/2MOA to 1MOA with the 300WM doing best with Norma Whitetail 150 gr ammo and 180 Norma Bondstrike. That stainless tikka was $800 shipped. So there's my struggle, do I consider my hunting rifles more for function and what is ultimately most important, which is how well they shoot, or put more consideration into weight, fit, finish, as well as accuracy. And the tikkas don't weight much anyway.

I set up rifles for individuals that hunt worldwide...do around 70 per year. My favorite ...most trouble free...most accurate out of the box for price ...is Tikka.

@@theoldstyleoutdoors9351 Me too. Wish I pulled the trigger on a Tikka years ago. Would have saved me thousands in custom rifles. Just sat down from another range session. Only had time for the 6.5 Creedmoor, 708, and one 30-06. The CM is duplicating what both new 300WMs did, and I mean, identical. I first shot the 143 factory Norma Bondstrike and measured 0.444" 3 shot group, then the 140 Norma Whitetail, 0.210" 3 shot group. Repeated both and got identical groups. The 708 is still needing something different. It will shoot an inch grp but I think it will do better. The 30-06 shot 165 factory Hornady boattails 3/4". I have lots of components to handload for it so that work continues as well. On the way home I stopped by Vance Outdoors and bought the remaining 3 boxes of Norma 6.5CM 140 Whitetail ammo. I picked up the last 4 of the Bondstrike but at $49/box, put them back. I want them, just have too many other things I need to put the cash towards and the CM, despite shooting so well, is something I'll shoot rarely (at least I think). Only things I'm changing on these Tikkas is a better trigger spring to get at or close to 1 pound, and adding a limbsaver recoil pad

The trigger spring for the Tikka is the best $15 you will spend on it!
      Good luck!

Being a 60+ year gun collector and owning Tikkas ,Fierce and Sako beside many custom builds and the Tikka is great for the price but if you can afford one the Fierce makes a awesome rifle for the price, I bought 2 Fierce rifles for my boys and I personally hunt with a Sako which is a fantastic rifles as well, it all comes down to how much you can afford!
