I like how supportive Aaron is “ no it’ll be fine it’s what we do”. 🥰
He seems like such a good sport.
WonderfulLora o
love Aaron’s “it’s what we do’!
Yes! My first thought exactly. Love how amiable he is, so easy going and accepting.
I love Aaron's attitude!❤
Aaron has a great way of looking at your projects. & amts of plantings.
It looks gorgeous but you make me tired....lol.
Mary
He was like 🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️
I know!❤️
Aaron has such a great attitude! "It'll be fun!" I am going to remember to have that kind of attitude when someone asks me to help out.
You two are so good together God bless
The most beautiful thing you have in your garden is Aaron. What a lovely man !
I agree
I agree tooo
Aaahhh...That was so sweet!💗 I think Aaron should choose some questions & comments for her next weekly recap again & make yours one of them!😄
“It’s what we do”. You’ve definitely got the perfect guy! ❤️
I like how in the begging she said "gonna do a LITTLE BIT of planting" 😂
I love Aaron! What a blessing he is as a husband, partner and friend!
I love seeing Aaron out helping you. Everything is beautiful.
Beautiful! I love Aaron’s positive attitude!
"If Christmas were a plant this would be it!" I love that. It was a good choice to go with the white ones in the pots though. All the plants are beautiful. Looks so good!
Your cottage gardens around the coop are some of my favorites on your property. 💕🌻🥀🌸
Hi Laura, are you expecting? 🌞 You have that beautiful glow and are taking it slow (not your usual). Aaron is also being so helpful.
@mgoose16 Thanks for your opinion.
Aaron seems like such an easygoing guy. He just goes with whatever you want to do. Does he ever put his foot down and say no way that's too much?
Why would he? That's their bread and butter! We can see regular gardens anywhere. We watch because they are so fantastic and over the top.
I mean, this is their career... why would he?
Mercury Rising I’m kind of new and just learning and loving all the videos but I’m not understanding how they can afford the amount of annuals they buy. I don’t mind investing in perennials because they come back each year but annuals are expensive.
Helen Oleksyn I think they get them free. I love my little perennial garden. I get a bit overwhelmed with what they do, but it is their career.
Love Aaron’s comment “that’s what we do” 😊. These spots look amazing already. Wait until they fill in 👌🏻
I love how Aaron is so supportive. I know this is what you do for a living, but he is definitely above and beyond. Keep planting and I will keep watching 🥰🥰🥰
All my life I've been looking for a guy that says "it'll be fun" when I tell him my latest project idea. You lucked out for sure.. :-) I gotta say your energy and ambition level is amazing! Whole place is stunning!
Oh Laura and Aaron this is going to be soooooooo beautiful. Love y'all's channel. Aaron is so sweet and so are you Laura.❤️🥰❤️
You are even beautiful when it’s in the 90’s and you’re sweaty. Lol. I don’t know how you do it! Lol. Pretty areas and it really feels good to get some things buttoned up, doesn’t it. As always, I am inspired daily. I even have my hubby watching you now. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻💕👏🏻
The lavender hedge has done so beautifully! That variety is so strong. It is all going to be spectacular.
Beautiful! You and Aaron make such a great team❣❣❣
I love it when you plant in big quantities and create big drifts.
Dear Laura, Just LOVE you and Aaron. You are so blessed. In turn you bless me. Even after all the restrictions are lifted I will stay home as my husband is not well. My Joy is from Jesus and his gift of the earth and gardening. You and Aaron are the icing on my cake. Your channel is my #1. I subscribe so I get a notification with every new video. I have been able to do so much this season despite the weird weather. God Bless. Cathy M. in PA ps going out to trim some trees so I don't get smacked when mowing LOL
I love how Aaron just goes along with your ideas. So many partners wish their spouse would be as accommodating.
Well now I need to know the answer as to what's trying to make its way into your chicken coop? 🧐😂
Watch out for snakes they go after chickens too
Coming and watching these spring videos knowing why Aaron is helping you more is so sweet. Man, when I look at what you accomplished in this past year is amazing. I am so glad you are feeling better and able to get in there and getting sweaty and dirty lol. Especially when you moved the tree that was at the end of old and beginning of new property. Can't wait to see the orchard, the cut flower, raspberry bushes grass/meadow and all the shade trees grow and bring your beautiful yard back together. I know it has been hard for Laura through this process but it already looks amazing.
Fun video. Nice to see Aaron involved. 👍🌱👶🏵
Laura: "I may plant a few coleus next to that one hydrangea, or I may just leave it open. I don't know."
Me: "She'll end up planting."
Lol.
Amy Richcreek
Empty ground is to Laura what the sound of water is to a beaver. I am compelled like that, too.
She's a plant-a-haul-ic!😁
No empty spots allowed! Lol
WOW... and how many wives just tagged the part in the video where Aaron comes out and says "Awesome" It's what we do!"... he gets Man/Husband of the Year award! but he's right! awesome!! that's great, so how many plants did y'all plant? 100? i love the way the chickens follow you around, lol... and a hole right there? is something trying to get into the coop??? NO! good spotting job, Russell! can't wait to see your next garden tour - things are looking so gorgeous! thanks for the video!
Even Aaron was surprised at ALL those plants 😂😂. But- Laura ... can’t wait to see what this space looks like in a few weeks 🙏🙏🙏. Awesome job!!!
All of your yard is so beautiful Laura and Aaron but the chicken coop garden area is my all time favourite. I am a free style rustic gardener so I will always have a love affair with the freestyle vignette that you have created here, you continue to inspire my love of gardening within me , thank-you.
Oh heavens! You did a lot! It's beautiful of course and so sweet of Aaron to help. Really like seeing yall working together. Let us know what Russell found under the bush if you figure it out. I was also admiring again the brick border you did around the chicken coop area. Everything is beautiful and cheerful!
I got a text from the chickens..... they are demanding air time. They are appreciative of the gorgeous gardens you have planted, but if they don't get camera time, there will be mysterious drop in egg production. First warning 🐓🐓🐓😂😂😂
Beautiful!! Like so many people here, watching your videos with my morning coffee is something that I look forward to every day!
I would love to see a video where you bring us on your daily rounds checking each of your zones for weeds or problems that need to be addressed. It would be nice to see how you look at each zone when you are in maintenance mode.
Aaron...looks good...👀....whoaaaa...it’ll be fun! 😊🤣Y’all are as wonderful as your beautiful garden!
Laura, I just love your channel, and all of the hard work and love you put into it. Thanks for your gardening inspiration ❤️
So happy. The cottage garden, the area opposite and in the garden in front of the chicken coop are my absolute favourite. Just stunning, It was very nice to see you both gardening today. No tackling the garden for me, dreadful thunder, lightening and torrential rain! Thank you and God bless, Wendy (North Wales, UK)
Laura, you thrill me, I’ve set two moon garden pots from following your videos and I have white petunias, white bizzie Lizzie and some ivy, all my neighbours are complimenting me on how good they look, I’m already sorry I didn’t build two raised beds but that’s gonna be next years project🇮🇪😊
GORGEOUS! GORGEOUS! GORGEOUS! GORGEOUS!
I had an "awwww' moment when Aaron shared your excitement to get started! Y'all are the cutest!
Aeron is adorable I like his laugh!
Aaron
When i watch your videos i automatically feel good and relaxed I can't do any garden work currently because I'm dealing with graduation exams but once I'm done I'll start again
Love your videos from palestine🇵🇸
Hello, I do not say it often enough but I so much enjoy you guys and love you. I had to moved into a condo ( 72 yrs) and miss my garden but love watching you two make everything beautiful!
Now I know why PW is out of plants ! :)
YES!!! LOL
😀
Exactly!
Yes! No wonder you can't find any in Western Oregon...she hoarded them sll on the East side of the state!!!😅😉
🙋♀️😂
“It’s what we do”. Awesome Aaron. One of your hens was singing her song. Must have been some egg! Love the caladiums.
After watching you and Aaron dig and plant all those plants I think you guys need a Hot Tub. Soak your backs. The plants are going to look gorgeous.
Beautiful!! Your cottage garden around the cool is one of my favorites. 💕
I was so excited to hear you say you have stock planted. It is a such an amazing scent and I love planting it in my garden but don't know much about it....can you teach us more?
I think you're channel is THE BEST!😁 thanks for sharing your talents and gardens with us.
I love Aaron attitude. Always smiling!!
I love how the all the beds look from all different angles. Beautifully done. I love that Coleus (I think that's how ya spell it) is perfect. I like how you changed out the 2 pots with the lesser red leaf foliage. Good choice. The other was pretty, better choice on the greener foliage.. thanks again. My supertunias are exploding by the way. They are gorgeous. Thank you for the trimmin tip. I tell everyone about you n Aaron and little Benjamin, how amazing your property is, and no time for laziness. Awesome job. Thank's ya'all for being awweeesssuuusssuummm!!!!
i love his attitude too, good man.
I'm thrilled your channel is growing by leaps and bounds. I've been here for years. Now my husband is addicted. We love Jack Barnwell's channel, too (thanks to you). I love your channels more than Netflix!!
IT’S WHAT WE DO!!!
I ❤️ Aaron!!! What a GREAT HUSBAND!!!
I love love loved that beautiful combination of witch coleus and hydrangea !!!
As always Beautiful combinations...Thank you for sharing Laura and Aaron
Oh how I love my DeWalt stud and joist drill with 3 different auger sizes that I got for my birthday 🎁 has made a huge difference in planting. I have 2 Berry Poppins that I dug with a shovel, took me forever. When the Mr. Poppins came in it only took 5 minutes (they were 3 gal size and I have gray soil). Love your videos so much, always come away with a big list of things I “can’t live” without 😂❤️😂
Love how easy going Aaron is about helping you do your thing! You guys are so cute together!
Everything looks lovely Laura. I think going with the white Caladiums was a good choice. I like the plant choices in those planters. I think it's sweet how Aaron helps you out. You guys work so well together.
The two of you get an amazing amount of work done. Great team!!
beautiful as always and Aaron is becoming quiet the star of the show....; ) He is a sweetheart!
That auger is worth it’s weight in gold!!! It’s on my wish list of things to buy. My favorite area is the cottage area with the pallet walkway. So fun and whimsical.
Love that you switched the Christmas caladiums to white ones.
Such a peaceful and soothing look.
This is what I wait for. I'm not really into planting containers but the landscape videos I really enjoy. Looks Great.
I am so happy and thankful for your videos Laura ♥️ your videos are educational, fun and full of positivity,
I always sip a cup of tea and watch your videos everyday 😁 and I love them ❤️I was a little worried when there was no video yesterday at the usual time, however I am happy that it was uploaded later.
I love Day lillies and Sunflowers 🌻Thanks once again!
I’ve been going back & watching videos from when you first moved in & see the difference from the rose garden, to what you have now, I just have to say I am in love with the way it looks now!
You have taught me so much! My vegetables and flowers are so much better this year because I’m fertilizing with Plant Tone. I planted a container that has a thriller, filler and spiller and my husband was impressed (I gave you all the credit). I recommend Garden Answer to everyone who gardens or even appreciates a garden! And Russel is so much fun to watch, too. I just wish I had your boundless energy. 🌻
Look at you Laura wearing gloves 🥰. Have you ever considered putting your containers over the flowers until you put the mulch down and then picking them up. I find I damage less flowers with this method. I’m really excited to see how all this looks once the caladiums grow. Thanks again Aaron and Laura.
I like that idea...👍
That is a brilliant idea! Will take it with me
Caladiums are a fave of mine. I wish they were perennial here. I can't get enough of them!
Beautiful combos. Russell the hunter? ... I thought he was there just to add a pop of colour.
I love Aaron ❤️!! He’s so chill and jolly all the time!
The support and love you have for each other says so much. So thankful for you both and your love for Jesus. You glow ❤️
I don't even want to know how many you two planted-great job and it looks fantastic. It is interesting watching this now (3 years after it was posted) and seeing the changes to your garden.
The lemon cypress, white flowered, dark leaf begonia and glacier ivy look divinely pretty together.
Every area you plant, I Think that it is my favourite and then you do the next one , and then that’s my favourite. Basically, I love every area!
What a sweetheart. He supports you to no end.
Caladiums are my current favourite plant! I just picked up a Florida Clown and I'm obsessed with it. Such beautiful plants, I can't wait for it's leaves to grow bigger than my head!
I agree with Aaron. That auger is worth every penny. After seeing you demonstrate it, I purchased one . It does make planting go fast and saves strain on my wrists. I may even plant bulbs this fall. I was able to find the PW coleus you replanted. Since the area I planted mine are susceptible to wind damage, I have been pinching them back in order to force them to grow shorter and stockier. I have even been able to root the cuttings.
what size is the auger?
That must be some $500 worth of plants you put in today.....probably more! I wonder...do you ever just sit outside and enjoy the fruits of your labor? It would be difficult to choose just one or two spots, as your entire property is so very lovely.
I know, right? They work so hard & display things so beautifully! I love all the information and inspiration they provide! Can't think of anyone that deserves that Proven Winners sponsorship more! PW would be foolish NOT to sponsor them! What a dream & blessing!!
Thanks Laura & Aaron!!!😀🙋♀️💚
Aaron is so nice and such a supportive husband. Lucky you!🙂
Aaron: "it's what we do" 🤣🤣..love his attitude!💛
I love all the planting schemes you did. Can’t wait to see all the caladiums and that area fill in. Expecting a tour.😊 Hope you find what’s digging by the chicken coop, soon. Thanks to Russell for pointing it out to you!
Aaron is so supportive.he is like no it will be fun.you are lucky to have him.anyways beautiful plants as always.luv your garden
Wow, lots of plants! Good thing that Aaron helped out! Loved his reaction!😅. Hugs🤗💜
Loved this video! The caladiums are going to be glorious in that area. They will definitely fill in! Mine tripled in size within 3 weeks of being in the ground and are still pushing out new growth 6 weeks later. You will be surprised and thrilled with them. The icicles are the perfect compliment in that bed, too! I can’t wait to see it in a few weeks! I think you made the right decision with switching out the caladiums in the pots. They turned out beautiful! The chicken coop beds are wonderfully amazing already and the color palette is spot on! Those are some lucky chickens! 😂 Please let us know what is trying to get into the coop! Aaron is so precious! Love his “it’s what we do” attitude! 🙌 Thanks for this very inspiring video! Love y’all! 🙌💚🌿🌸🍃
WHAT A TEAM!!! I did love Aaron's initial reaction. I can't wait to see how it looks when it all fills in. I do like your choice of caladiums that you put in the two containers, they look beautiful. Those are nice selections for the moon garden. Its amazing how easy the coleus snap off, but they have always been one of my favorites, I had my first one when I was 16, a long time ago! I just found 2 new ones at my favorite nursery, I'll have to take a picture of them for you.
Thank you for sharing this video.
This is so amazingly beautiful! I love it! Just an FYI; I've been using an elastic back support strap when I garden for several years now because I seem to tweak my back out every time I do any weeding, or shoveling...or lifting...well, you get the point! Ha! (my ears perk up every time I hear a gardener say something about their back) You might try one, if you haven't already, they're easy to find in the pharmacy area of many stores. It really saves your back with all the bending that we do! Thank you for sharing this lovely video!
Since I happened on your video for planting strawberries about 2 months ago, I have been binge-watching ALL of your videos! I love the dynamic that you and Aaron have, you are so sweet together and I look forward to a new video every day. I started cleaning out our big flower bed and have planted so many beautiful perennials (the most beautiful Phlox pan. Opening Act Ultrapink, Salvia Violet Riot, Veronica Wizard of Ahhs!, Kitten Around Nepeta, Serendipity, Lupinus Westcountry Blacksmith, Delphinium, Digitalis Camelot White *Foxglove*, Dianthus Everlast White Eye, a deep purple/wine coloured Calla Lily, Baby's Breath, a few Lilies, a Clementine Rose, an Amethyst in Snow Centaurea Montana, a Cantabrigiense Biokovo Geranium and a Weigela) as well as adding 3 types of Heuchera, a Brunnera Jack of Diamonds, an Evening Primrose and a few annual Salvia and Dianthus to the small bed where I planted some tulips and Daffodils last fall. I really enjoy the process and it is a great way to ease the stress after a crazy day at work during the Covid Pandemic. I especially love your cottage gardens around the chicken coop and the garden featured in this video is going to be so beautiful!
I wish I was more like Aaron. He just goes with the flow.
Your videos are always so inspiring!!!! I am ready to go tackle my weed overrun beds. Thanks!!!
@Robin Johnson You did a good job in your garden; Laura is so inspiring, isn't she?😍😎🤣
Seeing your Munstead lavender next to the walk reminded me. I had never considered trimming my lavender back until I saw your vlog on doing so. I went out the next day and trimmed mine, I have to say, it is looking wonderful and the flowers are just loaded on the plants. Thank you so much for yet another great tip!!!
Wow! You do what we all do the whole season on one day! Beautiful!
I kinda chuckled when you said "in the end, I had enough to...." You never have enough to....
Love the videos when Laura and Aaron work together .
Do you even know how lucky you are to have a husband who loves gardening as much as you! I’m so jelly! My hubby thinks I’m crazy by how excited I get about my flowers & veggie garden.
"Its what we do" 🤣
He is a great sport
Wonderful as usua🎯
What a great video to see you two work together so cute so cold in ontario this past weekend was in 50,s and 60,s going to be 74 today back to the gardens today oh canada have 4 seasons in one day but only 3 seasons this weekend lol let's us now Russell the hunter makes out !!! 🤔😀
It looks as if an animal is trying to dig into your coop again. I would set out your camera like you did last year and make sure you can stop it. It seems like animals always know where there is a weak spot (I have the same problem as well)
Russell found it thank goodness!!! 🐈🐔
Came to say this!
Was thinking the same thing...set up the cam!!!
I love how he "told her" about the holes. Smart, precious kitty ♡
Hi Laura and Aaron! This was fun to watch with both of you working together. Love Aarons attitude about the # of plants that need planted. You're so lucky! Everything turned out so pretty! For now, I think the area by the coop and walkway are my favorites, but they are all beautiful! I hope you don't have a critter trying to get your chickens again. Please let us know what it is and how you get rid of it. It looks like you're down to only 2 chickens? Will you be getting more? Thank you so much for sharing!
Aaron cracks me up.... love his reaction to seeing all the plants!! 😆
The title of this video is awesome. Great way to start my week. Now I need to do some planting of my own! 😊
Uh-uh. Something's going after your chickens. Give Russell a treat and extra love for showing you that an intruder is on the prowl. Good job, kitty. Oh, and good job, guys. You both worked hard getting all those plants in. Aaron, I like the way you support your wife. You two are a good team. Can't wait to see these gardens in a few weeks. ~ Lisa
Hi from Australia. You are such an inspiration and I love seeing what new plants you are planting and how your garden has evolved over time. You have given me the courage to tackle my own garden and not to feel bad about removing plants that are not growing well which was one thing I would never do and the reason I didn't love my garden. I currently have planted 10 hydrangeas and can't wait for spring to see the bloom of colour. Thank you again.
Fun to watch. Wish I was there to assist! Mr. Rooster lookin' good. :) Gorgeous plants everywhere -- I just thoroughly enjoy being with you every morning to see what's next!
Hi Laura, everything you plant looks amazing! Can’t wait to see what the garden is going to look like in a few weeks🥰🌱🌿🌼🌸
