I love the look of those PC-88s, especially the one below the monitor. It's a great example of the kind of physical quality old hardware has that modern hardware lacks. It feels more pleasantly cybernetic, like it was build to interface with human hands, and has a kind of pleasant character to it that suggests artistic play rather than mere function. The cord coming out on the bottom left especially feels that way. There it is, instead of being hidden, and even the rounded plug has an aesthetic appeal. Not to mention the fact that the whole thing is beige, instead of black. It feels like a mecha that you could work on with your hands.
Please for the love of god give a tour of the room on video. I am so jealous of your setup, it's beautiful.
