That’s not what she’s saying. She spent the first half of her scene admitting that she knows she is pretty. What she was saying is that Denny makes her feel like she’s more than that. She’s not just a pretty girl. She is pretty, she’s used to guys looking at her and seeing nothing more than that, but there’s more to her. Denny was one of the only men in her life up to that time that saw her as more than just a prettt girl. That was her point.
