Yes! More interviews mixed in with regular content would be fun! It’s nice to see other people whose hair might be more similar to my own :) I’d love to see Mel and Amanda from Manes by Mel.

I love this interview!! You and Ali are my favorite to follow on social media. You both seem so sweet, kind and generally interested and educated in this journey. This revived my interest in keeping up with my 2b/2c long hair. Thank you ❤️

Courtney, have you tried her method? Using air spray after plopping? I just did & I finally got a cast! & it does dry the faster!

Aw, my youngest (now 5) had a head of super curly, super blond hair (he is also my only light eyed child), but now it's a darker blonde & sightly wavy. My 2nd born (almost 16) also had light blonde curls that darkened much quicker, lost most of the curl by grade school, and it's now curly again in adolescence, though he won't wear it that way & brushes it, hairsprays (😬) it, & air dries. M trying to convince him to let me do his hair when he's done with his shower, with some leave in & gel because I think he'd look like Justin Timberlake looked back in the day! I'm going to get my hands on him eventually!

Yes! Thank you! We’re all like snowflakes. We can all use the same products and do the same application, but ultimately our end result will be uniquely ours. I stopped chasing the perfect curl and just enjoy the ones I have.

I feel like something I’m picking up on is that people with the biggest hair don’t have the most hair 🤯 I have so much hair and it just wants to lay flat. It’s somewhere between fine and medium so I wonder if the coarseness that helps the hair “stand up” combined with the fact that there aren’t so many strands weighing it down that helps people have lovely big hair! Anyways just some ramblings of conclusions I think I’ve been coming to lately 😃 my goal my whole life has been to have big hair, so I pay attention to what the people who have it say about their hair!

I've really enjoyed your interviews. I'd like to see you interview Brandi , The Glam Belle, her hair is curlier but you've already interviewed some curlier girls so figure that's OK. Brandi would be good as she has low density hair and none of the interviews have covered that. Brandi's hair is fine, if you want another low density interview with medium to coarse hair try Gena Marie but the Glam Belle is my preference because of her fine hair. Others have as already mentioned Mel and Amanda from Manes by Mel and I second that.

It is all about finding what techniques really work for you. I kinda do a combo of techniques. I was & condish upright while in the shower. Put my hair in a clip & shower cap, while I get dressed. Then I style upside down, having to rewet my hair, using Courtney's technique, using a brush to brush the hair away from my face & to ensure a good part & run my fingers through the hair in the back of the head. As for applying products, I do the F, C & S (flip, coat & scrunch). I do have a lot of leave in conditioners, but once they are used up, I think just using going to use the regular conditioner & doing a trickle rinse is good for me. Then, I plop for about 15 minutes & then I dry my hair they way Gena Marie does it, with popping your hair on a T-shirt, on the countertop & hover diffuse. I've been at it for about 1 1/2 years, although I have bought a bunch of stuff, I do use it all up, unless it's really bad.

Hi everybody, I'm looking for a good substitute for the Cantu Shea Butter Curl Activator Cream that doesn't have shea butter or glycerin. I tried the Treluxe Curl Supreme, but the scent was overwhelming. Any ideas, please?
