    Generally, a good water-cement ratio is 3 quarts per 80-pound bag. So, 9 quarts for 3 bags. Also, 2 gallons and 1 quart for 3 bags. Just pour 1 gallon of water into a 5-gallon bucket and mark it. Double that measurement and you have 2 gallons.

    UV Dye: One of the most popular and reliable methods for locating a refrigerant leak is to use UV dye. This method involves injecting a small amount of UV dye into the AC system, which will circulate with the refrigerant.

  • @richardevans9106
    @richardevans9106 3 місяці тому

    Pardon me if I am explaining the obvious but, your A/C system has oil in it that circulates throughout the system to lubricate the compressor mainly. When you leak out refrigerant, you also leak out some oil. If you examine your A/C components you may find an oil leak stain on them somewhere. When you recharge the system with refrigerant you also need to replenish the oil. It is nearly impossible to determine how much oil is in your system without disassembling it. You remove a component, like the accumulator/drier and dump out the oil and measure how much is in it. If it is 50% in that component then it is 50% in the entire system. Low oil levels can cause the compressor to fail.

    There’s a woman, on her own channel, that bends rebar with a hand tool. Amazing! I’ll find the video and share its title. Comes from Survival Mystique: DIY Brick and Build a Water Tank.
