Monday has to be one of the most underrated idols in the industry. Her vocals are godly, she can rap well and her dancing is sharp. Also to your question on their concept, they were going for the bubbly vibe early on which is what got them popular, we discussed it more on the discord, but the ven para concept shift + jiyoon leaving really killed any momentum they had. I really want this group to be successful tho

To summarise Weeekly’s concept they started with bubbly/teen concept from tag me to zig zag to after school and then holiday party. they wanted to show their mature side with Ven Para but got quite a negative reaction. so with Vroom Vroom I would say they’re trying to find the balance between their bubbly and mature side. In general Weeekly are a very versatile and talented group and if you get to know them better you would agree, people just keep putting in these boxes instead of letting them be who they wanna be. weeekly still are looking for their main sound but no matter the concept they will eat it up everytime.
How they didn't capitalize on the momentum of After School is sickening. Hope they don't turn out to be another Momoland because they got talent and have one of the best vocalists in Kpop. The switch up by even their own fans is weird
The company is sh*t i hope they pull a Fromis_9 and bring back that one member back into Hybe, but idk why people hated on "Ven Para" so much even though the song is really good ik that the switch up from "Holiday" was so sudden but the song was so good

I think Weekly's style is slightly close to general Korean songs, regarding song writing style. I feel very comfortable and easy going when listening to them. If you want more songs to react to, I recommend Good day, and Solar.

"look" favorite member wise I really like the way Jihan.... "looks" but yea.. most of my love goes to their music.. its so rare for me.. in Kpop.. to admire a gg's discography~ (I've been listening to Vroom Vroom religiously since it came out) and yea 'after school's chorus is so familiar.. at first I thought maybe "Kelis ft. Three different songs three different eras, it's amazing that Ven para almost killed their career, for being a very sudden change from the cute school concept to a kind of kick a$$ concept. Now with their new come back they have tone it down a bit and also mix it up, I guess to try to get back from the Ven para backlash, which was a bit understanding if you had been following them from the start. I can say all of Weeekly songs are great including the Play Game album where Ven para comes from, Solar and Where is my love? from this album are incredible too, these girls are very talented. After this new comeback the Play Game album would fit perfectly in Weeekly's timeline, I think it would now be very well accepted and appreciated and would receive the recognition that it deserved.

Ven Para is not a very high quality song imo, but After School and VROOM VROOM are 2 of my favorite k-pop songs overall. Love Weeekly!
