I went out with a French Muslim 15 years ago…. There was NOTHING French about him, even though he’d been born there. This man mixed only with other Muslim second generation immigrants, and I later found out had an extensive criminal record. I had the proverbial "shit" kicked out of me 45 years ago. Rearranged my face, my teeth, my insides became my outsides. I was so badly assaulted that the only upside was the unconsciousness that permeated throughout the beating. Afterwards, i spent a very long time convalescing, contemplating the part i played. It coloured my life. I have viewed many situations with suspicion and im sure ive missed out on the wider world and the things it has to offer. Sadly, those intial feelings have begun to creep back. We live in a society that has huge gaps in its moral makeup and that worries me, not for me but for my kids. I dont ever want them to gecome victims because they are unaware of the undercurrent of indifference permeating society.

My family member lived in an idyllic small town in France. They had to sell their vineyard / hobby farm to pursue a career change in another country. Upon returning after 5 years they discovered that town destroyed by the non violent group. Garbage everywhere, graffiti. A disrespected mess!

Part of the problem is that we view islam as a religion, it's not just a religion.
Islam is a totalitarian sociopolitical and economic sistem, with a religious component, in fact the religious aspect of Islam is minor compared with its other components .
Islam is a political framework for managing all mankind's affairs.
Islam is Firstly about ownership, then about GOVERNMENT, thirdly about administrative authority, subordination, dominance, doctrine, ideology, tradition, and finally also RELIGION, justice and answerability come last in the Islamic law.

You kind of got it right. The wrong part is the hierarchy of all those elements. There's not one single element of Islam that is preeminent, it is all those things at the same time, or rather, they are not perceived as different things at all.
And about tolerance, well, Islam has been way more tolerant than pretty much all the other religions for most of history. Don't take what you see now and make the mistake of thinking that it must be the one and only unchangeable nature of it. Everything is a product of circumstances, including religion.

Not true, Christianity has no political part, it actively stives for secularism (Give the Ceasar what is Ceasars). Islam has its own school of law.

The West didn’t value Christianity now that they are about to lose it to Islam, or Eliminative Materialism, or to Trans Humanism, they are waking up. Even atheists are worried at the possibility of Christianity being replaced. And well they should be. and well we all should be, but Christians have no one to blame but themselves. Christianity has been just as backward, primitive, dictatorial, and violent as Islam. Don't forget Christian inquisition, Christian burning of heretics, Christian burning of witches. The reason Christians are so meek and mild today is because they were defeated by the Enlightenment and have become a useless minority in all of Europe.
Your freedoms, your human rights, the separation of church and state that you enjoy today are all thanks to secularists who fought long and died for those secular ideals. The Catholic church and other protestant churches did not hand those freedoms and rights to you. Read history and pay respect to secularists, not to the Christians who have been busy waging deadly religious wars across the European continent for centuries or too busy burning heretics, witches at the stakes.

Both can be true. Any religion trying to force its beliefs on to others should be condemned. I'm an American and I view Christian Nationalists with contempt for trying to impose their religion onto an unwilling nation. They actually want to track women's menstrual cycles.
