It has to be that the cursor was not visible to them, you know like when you don't move it and it's hidden if you're watching something. Maybe it was for them but not the recording, cause it was in the actors faces at some points!! 😂
Cannot believe you didn't know it was Nic Cage 😂 Besides the good reviews, main reason I went to see it in the theater is because of him. Kept hearing from everyone that Cage is great. Indeed he is
One of the reasons Lee didnt really do much to stop her boss at the end of the movie was because the devil was influencing all of the characters decisions. The devil actually appears in several shots of the movie very briefly. Tina actually noticed one of the shots of the devil in the reaction.
Monroe is great. It Follows, Tje Watcher and this are all really good. I said this on other reviews and what not, but her and Mia Goth are the two best in the horror genre right now.
@@masteronionnorth2341 they’re filming a sequel to It Follows soon. I always can’t help but think IT Follows, like Pennywise is after you lol. Love IT and It Follows. Two great horror films.

Loved the tension building and creepiness lore and for me the last 40 mins blew my mind from suicide and mom accomplice including the end. They explained it if watch think about it and rather ambiguous endings. Maika and Nic Cage were superstars
@KristianHarloff huge fan of the channel and when you said “They should bring everybody” when her and her boss were investigating, my thought when I saw this in the theater about a month ago now with my dad was “They should have brought the entire damn SWAT team and not only that but brought a bunch of police choppers too, and have them fly over the place so if somebody tried to sneak in to kill them either the SWAT team or the choppers could shoot them down before they got too close to kill them.” Which of course, would have worked based on the twist ending with the “accomplice” which of course, spoiler alert for those who haven’t seen this yet you may not want to read any further, is the mom who was trying to protect her child so, she basically made a deal with LongLegs and therefore, made a deal with “the man downstairs” aka Satan.
This movie is about the journey, not the destination. Great performances all around, just tried too much for its own good at the end, but it was fun getting there. Glad you guys enjoyed it, great reaction *You gotta work in the double hand crossover, cukoo, cukoo into the impression cycle 😂
The gun at the end had bullets. Satan just made it misfire so she couldn't destroy the doll. Also if you pay close attention the devil shows up several times in the background (look for the horns). I really enjoyed the weirdness of it. At least someone's trying something different in horror/thriller these days.
this is up there with dune for me in terms of best of 2024 so far - loved the vibes, and loved that, unlike a lot of horror films, it’s not afraid to go that extra step and embrace its premise
A possible answer your question as to why she didn't shoot the doll at first... is because the devil was probably still controlling her or she just wasn't thinking straight from what happened when her doll was shot, and all her emotions. The devil is most likely the reason her gun didn't work on the doll. The devil was behind a lot of things related to her, like her "psychic" ability.
I normally wouldn't watch a movie like this, but I had to see the reaction because I was curious about your friend Tina and how you both were gonna react to it. I'm sorry the ending ruined it for you two. Tina's really cool. I hope you have her on again.
This Movie is worth a second watch. There are so many details you can easily miss like the first scene where you can see the perspective of the (Lee) Doll when Longlegs delivers it and that blanket covering it, Carrie Ann saying she had seen Lee Harker before when in reality she saw her mother bringing the doll to their farm, the “downstairs” references turning out to be literally true as longlegs created his dolls down in the basement, the song he sings about letting him in or Lee Harker associating the upside down triangle during that FBI test with the word father as if she connected the devils symbol to a father figure (longlegs) living in her house, even though she doesn’t seem to remember it due to her own doll blocking her memory (+ ofc all the devils appearances during the movie, there are like 10 or so always somewhat hidden in the background)
Welp came back to watch Loved your chemistry together, feeding off each others energy. and if Tina hasnt seen Sinister I recommend you 2 watch that one, or maybe The Strangers (2008)
I absolutely loved this movie, but I can see why others would have issues, though. It's more about atmosphere and tension and has a shower burn pace. Oh. @@TheKristianHarloff It stars Willa Fitzgerald and Kyle Gallner. It's a violent thriller. It had a limited release about a month ago. It's told out of sequence, so the story reveals itself like layers of an onion. It involves a serial killer, but that's all I want to say about it. Don't watch a trailer. Don't read anything else about it.
literally the credit at the very beginning stating that Longlegs is played by Nic Cage, love it. So do you think there will be some prequel or spinoff? I hope it's just one and done, as good as this was. Watch for white triangles. When she's given the "first word that comes to your mind" with those images slideshow, the inverted white triangle she answers "father."

IDK, I feel like Longlegs living in their basement should've been a bigger scare/reveal in the movie but it didn't feel that way when I watched this. And that dark puff of smoke that flew out of her head was never revealed, was it?
That dark smoke represents her connection with Satan through the doll. The doll is destroyed so it’s essentially Satan letting her go. You see Satan in a lot of shots throughout the movie and he is essentially a figure with horns made of black smoke.
Must say i heard of this movie because i heard Nicolas Cage was playing a serial killer. As I thought he did a great job I still wasn't sure to be terrified or amused with some of his scenes and yet at the same time i was thinking "Classic Crazy Nicolas Cage."
@@TheKristianHarloff I also agree with you about the ending. The reasons the movie didnt end up being that high on my radar was the ending. Total letdown
