Go to church, K.R.I.T., the worlds pull is real for all of us. Dont listen to the haters. We waitin for you to come back HOME, the Church. The Prodigal was welcomed with open arms. And big ups to Crae for opening the door and collabing with KRIT.
Here after hearing what Crae said about this song on the newest episode of his podcast. Krit's verse is incredible, open and vulnerable. Christians should be encouraging more of these types of songs, not condemning them. Respect to Lecrae and Krit.
To those who don't know Big KRIT, yes he's a secular rapper but he makes references to God a lot. He talks about growing up in a Christian home and the impact its had on his life.
Krit is coming from a standpoint in this song that so many people are in. The point of this music is to touch those who are stumbling and shaky in their faith. Chances are introducing faith in a way not many people have heard it. Lecrae is reaching out to people who need to hear the gospel.
Some people are visiting this video (along with so many more Christian videos) to make negative comments and spew hate toward God. All I can say is.... yay.... at least they are visiting Christian videos... I believe out of curiosity and there is a part of them that knows God is real. My prayer is I hope they see the truth while spending their time surfing Christian videos to make hateful comments. God is and always will be on the throne! Bravo Lacrae for spreading the TRUTH!
I love that line "when I hear Krit confessin I respect him, cause most of us be lyin like our lives don't need perfectin"... that's real! If we don't get to a point of brokenness and repentance, we will never understand that we ALL need Christ!
People fail to realize, if Lecrae DOESN'T rap, talk with, etc... secular rappers, how will he help make an impact in the industry for God? I hope you all ponder this. God bless!
Not very often you see a secular artist come on a song with a renowned Christian artist, AND talk about God...already loved Krit, but much respect for this song. I always come back to this song. Also gained respect for Lecrae to collab with him, not that he wasn't already a respected artist.
I know my reply is hella late, but, KRIT out course talks about his Sippi upbring his Influence was Pimp C and you can hear that same country accent. We all know his penmanship and producing skill is heavily underrated
Its good to see Lecrae doing music with secular artists to expand his audience so more lost people can reach the bible. If it wasnt for that it may be only other christians hearing the music.
i hope nobody is complaining about Lecrae bringing secular rappers onto a track with him. The fact that Krit and Crae are on a track together is in itself a blessing. Just cuz some rappers aren't christians it doesn't mean they don't have a message. Saying so is just the same as the secular people who don't believe christian rappers are talented. Pre-conceived notions are useless.
i gotta new found of respect for Big K.R.I.T. who gave his life to Christ, people are finally realizing that there isnt that much time until Jesus comes and they're acting upon it. Just cant wait for more people to turn over to Christ realizing how much time they have left.
Ashthon was perfect choice for this with y'all. Synergistic. Incredible. This is the type she was meant to do, not that other stuff she was doing before. You know it when you hear it. You guys should make a demo for the next James Bond movie. This song with her singing reminds you of the soundtrack.. Wouldn't that be moving, to have a Christian injection in a James Bond soundtrack? We could all pass it around and petition. Please make more music like this. We need it.
apparently a lot of ppl on this post have forgotten what it's like to be unsaved, lost, backslidden, or otherwise living a lifestyle contrary to how Christ wants us to live - saved or not. How easy it is for us to become Pharisees. God has a way of reminding us of our imperfections. Keep it up, and you too will be the BIG KRIT of your own criticism. Humble yourselves and recognize when Jesus is reaching those outside of the very Kingdom which you were SO fortunate to be called into.
People bash lacrae for collaborating with secular artists like its a sin to minister to EVERYONE. If we aren't converting sinners to Christ what's the point
+Langston Woodie KRIT is a Christian as well in the same regard as Kendrick. Not everyone is at the same place in their walk, but the very fact that they believe is why they are among the realest rappers in the game
Sick vocals, lyrics, and highly skilled song. Also extremely sad, as it hints at death, desperation, and tears. Man Down is after all, a recognizable S.O.S. Lecrae, did we understand this too late for you? I started praying for you when I first viewed this video. To me the dejected look on your face at the end of the video said it all
+PowerForTheGamers No no Deonta is right. Lecrae was at the top of the iTunes, but many people don't wanna listen to his music. Is it because it's too "real" for them and they are stuck listening to fakes like Drake, Rae Sraemmund, and the Rich Gang? Probably. Lecrae is one of the best rappers in the game right now, along with KRIT, Kendrick, JCole, and Joey Bada$$, as well as Andy Mineo (who is one of the most unique rappers in the game).
Just saying, it's not about "doing business" with people, it's solely about the message of the song which is about going up for prayer. The gospel is indeed for ALL people not to mention there is more power in hearing a story of someone who is turning away from violent, sinful backgrounds to pursue God rather than the familiar "grew up in a Christian household". Even Jesus said "It's not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick."
It shouldn't be pushing; it should be sharing. And quote Neomniblad, "KRIT has always talked about God in his music, but also spoke his struggles to pursue."
"It's hard to live and serve when your on the devil's turf/ Sell your soul for the low not knowing what it's worth" - Big Krit man I relate to this line so much.
My new favorite song! Jesus is what drives my passion now and I love to hear hip hop from people who let Jesus drive their gifts...man its uplifting and inspiring.
admitting that you need God and there is a a God is the first step. Christian or not, dont judge him and we can all learn something from this. Music goes hard.
And I don't care what someone did BEFORE, puh lease.. we alllll had a before. Look at what they are doing right now. This is greattttttt music...touching millions of people. I want more. More. More.
To everyone who is hatin and judging Im telling you that the world of God says not to judge . Jesus was with the sinners because they needed healing !! We need to model him . Amen?
Its awesome how Lecrae isn't closed off to the secular world, he sticks to his views and stays with his faith, but he doesn't treat people with other views like freaks. And it was really cool with KRIT confessing and talking about stuff that a lot of people would be uncomfortable speaking about. Krit's part really makes this a powerful song.
Here is the deal, all of you need to calm down. There is no need to be arguing over a UA-cam video. Lecrae put KRIT in here. It's his album he can do what he wants. I'm sure it was missionary in a way but that is for Lecrae to handle with the help of God not us arguing over comments. Keep pushing yourselves to be more like Christ. Much love to the fellow Christian rap fans out there.
Who are we to determine who's a saint or a sinner. No man is perfect. If you have ever heard any of K.R.I.T. songs then you know he is strong in faith because he was raised by a praying grand mother. God sent us here for a purpose and for his people to judge one another isn't apart of that mission. Great song definitely going on my phone along with any other music that I think is worthy even if it's with "secular artist".
I've said it once and I'll say it again 2 Timothy 2:23 NIV "Don't have anything to do with foolish and stupid arguments, because you know they produce quarrels." Don't entertain other peoples foolishness!
God gave man free will. And the world as we know it would not exist without balancing forces...without evil, we would not know good. Without pain, we would not know joy. Without tragedy, we would not know miracles. It is a terrible thing to happen, but it was caused by man.
Let only come out of your mouth that what is good for building others up. Judge not lest you be judged for the measure you use it will be measured back to you. Thx Lecrae for your heart for God. I wanna tell the world too. YP in yth detention in OZ are moving further on their journey thanx to you and your FAM. God Bless and Merry Christmas
Who did Jesus minister to? Was it the "righteous, religious" Pharisees? Did Jesus come to heal the healthy people? Did he come to the rich? Jesus' disciples were fishermen, tax collectors, etc.. Jesus healed the sick, came to the poor. If no one is going to be shining light in the secular industry then who will? Does Lecrae talk about sex, drugs, or partying? He talks about real life issues and how walking with God will overcome that. I see so many people claiming to be so righteous that they know every one of Lecrae's sins. Man look at outward appearance but God looks at the heart. If we don't approach those who are not saved then how are they suppose to become saved? Ever thought about how everyone of you was not saved at one point?
God created man in His image. Giving us the freedom to choose what is right and what is wrong. Yes he is all powerful and can stop this at any time, but we are accountable for our actions. Because some choose not to follow God's will, that is the work of Satan through man, not God's will.
God bless everyone here.My name is Bryan and I am a believer in Christ.Recently I started making music with a message.God has allowed me to go through a lot but all for a testimony and the chance of helping many people out there going through what I went through.I'm not looking for fans, money, or a career out of this. But I do look to reach out to those who need it and can relate to me and like hip hop and songs of praise.Thank you for taking your time to read this and have a blessed day!

Krit’s verse is absolutely incredible
Prophetic
Obrigado Big Krit !
Krit is coming from a standpoint in this song that so many people are in. The point of this music is to touch those who are stumbling and shaky in their faith. Chances are introducing faith in a way not many people have heard it. Lecrae is reaching out to people who need to hear the gospel.

Franco Zealouzone Amen so help me God.

Krit really not even a secular artist
marquis1835 I wish that was true but he still talks about drugs, money and hoes plenty.
+marquis1835 What do you mean? He's a believer?
I know my reply is hella late, but, KRIT out course talks about his Sippi upbring his Influence was Pimp C and you can hear that same country accent. We all know his penmanship and producing skill is heavily underrated
PRAY FOR KRIT!!!
Its good to see Lecrae doing music with secular artists to expand his audience so more lost people can reach the bible. If it wasnt for that it may be only other christians hearing the music.
Wow looking back at this both KRIT and Lecrae were both in their primes. They rocked my teenage years.
i hope nobody is complaining about Lecrae bringing secular rappers onto a track with him. The fact that Krit and Crae are on a track together is in itself a blessing. Just cuz some rappers aren't christians it doesn't mean they don't have a message. Saying so is just the same as the secular people who don't believe christian rappers are talented. All you gotta do is listen to the lyrics. In the first verse, K.R.I.T. is confessing his struggles and in the second, Lecrae is praying for him.
i gotta new found of respect for Big K.R.I.T. who gave his life to Christ, people are finally realizing that there isnt that much time until Jesus comes and they're acting upon it. Just cant wait for more people to turn over to Christ realizing how much time they have left.
''I'd found true religion but it's not inside of the denim...'' Lacrae. Classic

Krizzle, one of the few secular hip-hop artists worth listening to.
The Drummer in this song killed it !! Praise Jesus
I've never noticed
Agreed
DJ Khalil (@imadeitinc) produced this track. One of the best in the business.
Lecrae coolest and greatest christian rapper ever.
Anyone still listening 10 years later?😅🙏🏽✨
11 years later
That Krit verse always bring a tear to my eye man...
Lecare & Big KRIT - ... Wow that's amazing
This is the type of thing you want to turn into a Collalbum haha
no man he's just a real artist who thinks about it cuz he grew up in that
Ashthon was perfect choice for this with y'all. Synergistic. Incredible. This is the type she was meant to do, not that other stuff she was doing before. You know it when you hear it. Big K.R.I.T killed this
Lecrae's tryin! That's way more than 80% of these church people. I love this song and its hope.
People bash lacrae for collaborating with secular artists like its a sin to minister to EVERYONE. If we aren't converting sinners to Christ what's the point
They are idiots. Big KRIT is wayyy better he doesn't rap about one thing. He has actually real lyrically skills. Lecrae isn't that bad doe.
Amen!
Straight up
+Langston Woodie KRIT is a Christian as well in the same regard as Kendrick. Not everyone is at the same place in their walk, but the very fact that they believe is why they are among the realest rappers in the game
Langston Woodie thank you!!
We can only hope so. Ultimately, that decision is between K.R.I.T. and God.
Why am i jus now hearing this song???🔥🔥🔥🔥
Sick vocals, lyrics, and highly skilled song. Also extremely sad, as it hints at death, desperation, and tears. Man Down is after all, a recognizable S.O.S. Lecrae, did we understand this too late for you? I started praying for you when I first viewed this video. To me the dejected look on your face at the end of the video said it all
Two of the most underrated rappers
Lecrae isn't under-rated, he was top on Itunes recently lol.
+PowerForTheGamers No no Deonta is right. Lecrae was at the top of the iTunes, but many people don't wanna listen to his music. Is it because it's too "real" for them and they are stuck listening to fakes like Drake, Rae Sraemmund, and the Rich Gang? Probably. Ify Nsoha Who's Andy mineo?
@@Iffmeister seein this 6 years later, you probably didn't expect Andy to make all of what he's put out, man's nice
Best video made my Lecrae so far. Much love fam.
Lecrae has done it again! #InstantClassic
Here's praying this video changes lives.
Love this song SAVIOR'S GANG GOING CRAZY FOR THE LORD
Just saying, it's not about "doing business" with people, it's solely about the message of the song which is about going up for prayer. The gospel is indeed for ALL people not to mention there is more power in hearing a story of someone who is turning away from violent, sinful backgrounds to pursue God rather than the familiar "grew up in a Christian household". Even Jesus said "It's not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick."
"Leave it in the Lord's hands...im tired of crying"
wow really needed to hear that right now!
I hope that this is a stepping stone for Big Krit to truly accept Christ!
I LOVE THIS SONG I PUT IT ON REPEAT IN THE WHIP
S.T.R.O.N.G Music .. better than all this mainstream non sense . god bless
That's powerful
I forgot how epic this song was
When I hear KRIT confessing I respect em'!!
This song reminds me of God's grace in saving me. A sinner undeserving yet grateful for His work on the Cross.
I'm loving this song God bless Lecrae and everyone that was featured in this video
Thank you love
+ashthon jones you can really sing I saw u on another big krit song
i believe he means its hard to serve God and do the right things on earth because thats where the devil walks
One of his most underrated songs IMO
This song 🙌🏾💯
This deserves way more views
K.R.I.T made me press replay.
"Over priced shades have never given us vision." Dang, that one hit hard.
And I don't care what someone did BEFORE, puh lease.. we alllll had a before. Look at what they are doing right now. This is greattttttt music...touching millions of people. I want more. More. More.
Lecrae all day! So glad I discovered this truly talented artist and what a story! This song is dope! Praise the Lord! :)
To everyone who is hatin and judging Im telling you that the world of God says not to judge . Jesus was with the sinners because they needed healing !! We need to model him . Amen?

This is real music....from the heart....thumbs up if u agree.
Best song on the album in my opinion. Amazing.
I agree

Pure dope, Lecrae is a boss of hip-hop
Big K.R.I.T got some bars in this track.
Just a reminder that this still is golden
"Beware of what comes after. Bet you aint fasho. I was warned that, Heaven aint the only place to go..."

Preach the truth K.R.I.T and Crae
Believing in God and being saved are 2 totally different things, we needa pray for Hopsin!!
"When I hear KRIT confessin, I respect him. Cuz most of us be lyin like our lives don't need perfectin" Those lines speak for a lot.
Kind of reminds me of the tax collector parable when he humbly confessed his sins
God gave man free will. And the world as we know it would not exist without balancing forces...without evil, we would not know good. Without pain, we would not know joy. Without tragedy, we would not know miracles. It is a terrible thing to happen, but it was caused by man.
1:41 there's always that one in church who takes the holy ghost to far
+Nico Reveco you can't take the holy ghost to far, lol but I know what you mean
Let only come out of your mouth that what is good for building others up. Judge not lest you be judged for the measure you use it will be measured back to you.
