I know it’s been said before, but the way y’all review food and drinks is top-notch and so enjoyable to watch. Thanks for the consistently amazing uploads, this channel is truly my favorite right now.
Beaver Tails are delightful! I didn't know they existed until I went to Canada a few years ago and discovered them. I wish they were more readily available here in the US!
Y’all are hilarious….Alan as a beat builder was the best! He’s a natural. 😊 As always, your coverage of this event-Stellar! Lastly, cast and team members are what makes our experiences magical and special. Show them some love 💕
The Canadian Cinnamon dough thing you tried looked like a beavertail. If you ever come to Canada you need to try them. The Cinnamon sugar one is my favorite. They are much better here. More dough more toppings. Not dry.
This channel has seriously become my favorite. Every video is amazing from the theme to the editing, it's all so good. Molly and Alan show such enthusiasm at every video it shows how much they love the parks and makes the difference.
You guys really are the best at reviewing food! I think those of the videos that I actually tend to rewatch most! Between Molly’s appreciation of all kinds of flavors, to Alan’s culinary skills, the two of you just review and detail everything so well. Also I love that Alan’s tell when something is delicious and done right is that he takes a bite and immediately giggles/chuckles.
As an Indian person, I love that Universal has an India booth! I hope you and Alan try the pav bhaji and the nimbu paani. Those are my favorite things to eat and drink! 🤤🤤🤤
I was just about to post that! Mobile is my birth city so I wish Universal would acknowledge Mobile during their Mardi Gras “season”…but I know a lot of people just think of NOLA🎭
Just an FYI Colombian food isn’t necessarily spicy. Ají is pretty mild. My main issue with WDW is that for Colombian-labeled items they usually add spices that Colombian cuisine doesn’t normally include. I’d love to see you guys try authentic Colombian food. Thanks for the review y’all!
Alan’s full commitment to the Beat Builders performance was everything. Alan, your facial expressions are the best! My husband and I are always waiting for them in the videos. Loved this video. Hope Bob Villa hears about the honorable mention 😂
Hi Alan! Love hearing you try to pronounce things in Portuguese. In Brazilian Portuguese when saying things with the letter J in them like “Queijo” we pronounce it just like J is said in English with the “ja” sound but maybe with a hint of a Z sound. So the phonetic way to say it would be “Kay-jzo.” Not like in Spanish with the “ya” or “ha” sound. Hope that helps!
Was the Bloody Mary mix ‘Waggin’ the dog’? It is amazing and I loved it when I lived in Houston! And I know it’s packaged there. Or you might be thinking of Uncle Dick’s Top Dog. Also delicious! The Waggin’ was more of a cartoon dog and I think the Uncle’s has a bull dog. But both have more than one level of heat.
What a great video! I love that you were able to interview those team members for extra insight. I hope y’all let us know how bead throwing goes versus bead catching. 💜💛💚
You guys tried a whole bunch of things that none of the other vloggers did, and this was one of my favorites lately. Mardi Gras is my favorite event in all of Orlando, all year round. Beats Christmas hands down. Also- while you’re trying the hot dog, is that Adrianna from Delish behind you?
Uncle Dick's Top Dog is the Bloody Mary Mix you're asking about from Spec's. Hi from Houston!! We've been watching your vids since "before", and it got us prepared for WDW last July, and we'll be there again in a few weeks for Universal and WDW, so we're getting prepped again! Thanks for the vids and tips/tricks!! (BTW, my niece and nephew LOVED the Mikey waffles at Hollywood Scoops!)
I love how we can always tell if the food is good. With Molly it shows in her face with Alan he like does this like smile giggle breathing thing with his mouth full. Ya both are charming and adorable!
I love Mardi Gras at Universal and can't wait to go this year. One of my favorite theme park memories of all time was watching the parade with my 15-year-old son. As we were getting in place, he was sort of rolling his eyes and thinking it was going to be laaaaaaaaaame. But, yeah, bead catching is a competitive sport, and we had the best time trying to outdo each other. For that half hour, he forgot about being a "cool" teenager and just completely got into the Mardi Gras spirit. (He won by about 10 necklaces, going in for a rematch this year!) Thanks for the great review, and I saw a few food items that I plan to put on my list!
Great video. I loved all the foods that you tried and your honest reviews of them. Also, thank you for standing up for the TM's. They go through a lot working there to make our day great and they deserve so much credit and love. We'll be there in about a month and we are so excited to try all of the new foods and some of the ones we have always loved.
It's sad to see the Canada booth not have any Acadian food on the menu since the Acadians have a strong place in history with the Cajun food. I'm sure Molly and Allan would enjoy it.
Alan, how could you forget the most important contributor to your success??!! Kronk's tail wagging surely taught you how to maintain a steady rhythm. For shame!
I've lived in southern Louisiana my entire life and attended a parade just yesterday. I can tell you catching beads is 100% a competitive sport. You want to walk away from the parade with so many beads around your neck that they are sliding down your shoulders. Love watching ya'll and laissez les bons temps rouler!
Appreciate all of your videos, tips and tricks, and overall coverage of these fun events. Also love the commentary and witty one liners. Just a quick thanks for your content, keeping it fresh and fun. You guys are awesome!
Thank you for doing such a thorough and entertaining video covering this years Mardi gras! I loved the little BTS scoop regarding how they design the themeing each year, and when I saw more body types represented in the parade I honestly cried. It means so much to me to see that amazing improvement from Universal!!
Hey! Love watching you guys and love your many tips and hidden “secrets” you always share. Just an fyi, during your PSA, you were talking about cast members and going to Disney to say thank you to them, which is very nice, but this video is in Universal 😉 🤣 still loved watching it! Keep up the great work!
Yay for Alan! And Molly I do love your first hat best too! FYI - spaetzle is actually supposed to be more like a mini dumpling than pasta (thanks to our year of having a German exchange student}
Loved seeing Alan with the beat people. Can you use the refillable glasses on your second day? Also like his comments with the accent. Molly as always love her.
sitting here just outside Edinburgh thinking should we have visited Universal now...... Mardi Gras sounds soooo good.....but Halloween Horror is our goal and looking forward to see you both rockin Universal's scary season. at the end of October. In the meantime I love watching and giggling alone with you..... and 'David Attenborough'......🙂
Spaetzle usually is grated or squeezed through a ladle with holes in it to create stringy noodles. So, it doesn't look like mac and cheese pasta. Is it Waggin" the Dog Chipotle Bloody Mary mix?
Molly did you see the Color Blind glasses on the Disney Parks channel that corrected the Bride's color blindness. I just kept thinking of Alan!!!! You may want to look into them if Alan is interested! WOW!
I can't believe Molly and Alan didn't try the Nikuman Bun Sampler at the Japan food booth! While they might not be Pandora cheeseburger pod level, they were quite good.
Fried dough, or as my tribe would say, Fried Bread! 😍 My favorite. I can eat so much fried bread with honey butter or powdered sugar and honey or cinnamon sugar and honey. Yuummmm
I believe you said it right, i dono if you prononced the second word right, but good try! (note i am not japanese so i do not know, i wish i where but i am not) not a fan of dolls. I forgot thats a thing there. isn´t there a place called the field of Dolls? Why and how i know that? well Im a nerd duh.
I'm not sure why they're calling that a Canadian Snowshoe because that's not a thing here, but we do have ones that are similar - fried dough stretched out wider with cinnamon and sugar called Beaver Tails.
Great video and I love your content. I am subscribed but when I go to UA-cam to look at new posts for channels that I subscribe to you never show up. Is it something I am doing wrong?
We love your videos and I knew you would do such a great job covering Universal Mardi Gras. The foods look so delicious. I love the Universal Mardi Gras event. It's so much fun and the parades are great.
Loved the video. It's fun to see the difference and similarities between Mardi grass and carnaval. I saw the festival doesn't have the Netherlands represented. carnaval is really big in the southern provinces. They could serve our famous fruit pies, nonnevot (fun fact the direct translation is nun's bum - it's a sweet fried dough shaped in a bow) or Berliner bol, also fried dough but shaped in a ball and in the middle you either have a fruit filling (apricot usually) or a type of vanilla pudding.
When you are eating that hot dog Molly, I think that was Adriana from Delish filming something. It’s funny when you see other vloggers in fellow vloggers videos.
Im so excited I found your channel. I realized a few weeks ago I hadn’t seen a video with you in so long when it was a daily routine for such a long time. I was so happy it recommended the channel to me so I can watch again. Your content is the best!!
That was 100 percent adorable seeing Alan being apart of the beat builders. Loved learning from Laura Sauls. Her enthusiasm was contagious
I know it’s been said before, but the way y’all review food and drinks is top-notch and so enjoyable to watch. Thanks for the consistently amazing uploads, this channel is truly my favorite right now.
💯💯💯💯💯
I’ve seen other vloggers switching up their styles because of you guys. You guys are the best!
Alan smelling a candle in the gift shop: ”mm, i like that”
Molly: ”i feel like mardi gras candles smells like alcohol and regret”
😂
No lies detected.
Alan’s “influencer documentary” narrations give me LIFE!! 😂😂😂😂
Fun fact: we get the snowshoe maple donuts here but they’re called “beaver tails”. I’m sure Duckfist approves. 🤣🇨🇦
Thanks for clarifying! I was about to chime in on that as well. Glad Molly seemed to like it. 🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦
I was going to say, I think it’s a beaver tail
Epcot used to have them at the Canada pavilion too
Beaver Tails are delightful! I didn't know they existed until I went to Canada a few years ago and discovered them. I wish they were more readily available here in the US!
@@christinak3509 For sure! The US has many treats we don’t, but we love beaver tails. My fave is the killaloe sunrise. 💛🍋
Not dry.
Ok, Alan falling right in line with the beat builders was the most natural and EPIC happenings ever. The best! ❤😊😍😁👌❤ Love ya'll!!! Beingnyasssssss
This channel has seriously become my favorite. Every video is amazing from the theme to the editing, it's all so good. Molly and Alan show such enthusiasm at every video it shows how much they love the parks and makes the difference.
The Bloody Mary mix is called Uncle Dicks!
I loved this episode! So much fun and go Alan! So much rhythm
I have a fever, and the prescription is MORE COWBELL! Great job!
More cowbell…and candles! 😂
Alan you forgot “I’d like to thank Molly for “protecting the sandwich”.” 😂😂😂😂
Adriana from Iconic Eats walking behind you while you’re talking about the hot dog 😂
You guys really are the best at reviewing food!

Omg Alan and the Beat Builders!!! What I didn’t know I needed today !
Mardi Gras fun fact: Nola has the largest Mardi Gras, but Mobile, AL is the birthplace of Mardi Gras! 💜💛💜
I was just about to post that! Mobile is my birth city so I wish Universal would acknowledge Mobile during their Mardi Gras “season”…but I know a lot of people just think of NOLA🎭

Universal’s food/drinks/theming for these speciality festivals and events get better and better each year. Mardi Gras looks like so much fun.
I was thinking she was referring to Uncle Dick’s with regular jalapeño and habanero.
Oh and I live in Houston, if you need me to mail it to your P.O. Box in exchange for a mutually agreed charitable donation, let me know!
@@krisb3576 I was thinking Uncle Dick's, too!
What a great video! I love that you were able to interview those team members for extra insight. I hope y’all let us know how bead throwing goes versus bead catching. 💜💛💚

Um. Alan’s stint with the Beat Builder’s was epic. EPIC!
I love how we can always tell if the food is good. With Molly it shows in her face with Alan he like does this like smile giggle breathing thing with his mouth full. Ya both are charming and adorable!

This makes me so hungry! 33:13 That’s the girl from Delish in the back. I love her. She’s hilarious!
24:50 another set of UA-camrs. Lindsayland. But I like the girl from delish as well.
New cow bell ringer!!!! Awesome, Alan!
Molly, Spec’s has Uncle Dick’s Bloody Mary mix with varying levels of spiciness. I’d vote for Best Maid Spicy Pickle Bloody Mary mix!!!
Cow Bell King! 😂
Mollys “GumGo” bad joke looked like it physically hurt Alan😂
They celebrate Mardi Gras in India anymore than Beetlejuice.
Love seeing so many countries represented in food…eat your heart out, EPCOT!
Lol
Great video. I loved all the foods that you tried and your honest reviews of them. Also, thank you for standing up for the TM's. We'll be there in about a month and we are so excited to try all of the new foods and some of the ones we have always loved.
Alan in the Beat Builders! That was amazing!
I just love Mollys face when she gets the first big fork full of cheese
It's sad to see the Canada booth not have any Acadian food on the menu since the Acadians have a strong place in history with the Cajun food. I'm sure Molly and Allan would enjoy it.
Alan, how could you forget the most important contributor to your success??!! Kronk's tail wagging surely taught you how to maintain a steady rhythm. For shame!
that jazz club looked SO MUCH like the Copa Cabana that Ricky Ricardo worked at on I Love Lucy. And I was on the edge of my seat looking at it.
Molly, were you talking about Uncle Dick's Bloody Mary Mix, by chance?
Yes!!
Hey look who it is at 33:53. Adrianna from @Delish. Filming another Iconic Eats?
She was at the media event with us. She’s a sweetheart!
Uncle Dick's Bloody Mary mix?
Just was I was going to post! Uncle Dick’s Top Dog.
The hot dog is not Denmarks National dish…
I've lived in southern Louisiana my entire life and attended a parade just yesterday. I can tell you catching beads is 100% a competitive sport. I love Mammoth club better then DFB. Molly is a better guide and gets onto what happens at parks 1st hand also Alan is good too lol😅
Alan as one of the Beat Builders was everything 😂👌
You guys makes me want to go to Disney and Universal Studios for fun. Again keep up the great work!
2:39 look at the SIzE of the drinks n food ooooh baby u r OBViously NOT at Disney... wow!!!
As a New Orleanian, I love seeing theme parks’ take on Mardi Gras😂 their idea of what we eat is WILD
I am from the UK, the English breakfast at Harry Potter - not really an English breakfast 😂
Thank you for doing such a thorough and entertaining video covering this years Mardi gras! I loved the little BTS scoop regarding how they design the themeing each year, and when I saw more body types represented in the parade I honestly cried. Just in case no one answered your Bloody Mary mix question….Uncle Dick’s is the name of the mix. 😏 I used to be a Spec’s store manager.
I’m 99% certain that Beat Builder was our Sammie on Galactic Starcruiser. ❤️
The Oh Baby beer and twisted potato looked soooo good! I don’t know if any combo can get better than that for me.
Yay for Alan! And Molly I do love your first hat best too! FYI - spaetzle is actually supposed to be more like a mini dumpling than pasta (thanks to our year of having a German exchange student}
You should come to Mardi Gras on the MS Gulf Coast. So much fun. If you want more, New Orleans IS better.. but MS is safer 🤷🏻♀️ lol
Is the bloody Mary mix you were talking about possibly Uncle Dick's "Top Dog"? Thanks for y'all you guys do and have a fantastic day all!
Loved seeing Alan with the beat people. Can you use the refillable glasses on your second day? Also like his comments with the accent. Molly as always love her.

Last year I went up to a food vendor and they gave me the $150 for $120 without being an annual pass holder so it’s worth a try if ppl wanna save $30.
Fried dough, or as my tribe would say, Fried Bread! 😍 My favorite. I can eat so much fried bread with honey butter or powdered sugar and honey or cinnamon sugar and honey. Yuummmm
Catching up on some older MAM videos! Love me some Mardi Gras. I hope Alan didn’t have to flash his chest at anyone for beads 😂
Uncle Dick's "top dog" bloody mary mix - most Specs carry it in the Houston area. Its awesome
I believe you said it right, i dono if you prononced the second word right, but good try! (note i am not japanese so i do not know, i wish i where but i am not) not a fan of dolls. Love Universal videos and Mardi Gras is second only to HHN!🎉👍 Love the hats and your shirt Molly!👍
I totally should have tried more of the drinks when I was there. Great look at all the drinks especially.
Great video and I love your content. I am subscribed but when I go to UA-cam to look at new posts for channels that I subscribe to you never show up. Is it something I am doing wrong?
Is it just me or does that one chef kind of sound like Robin Williams, especially Genie!Robin Williams?
Fun video! It does look as though Universal is really trying to copy a Disney food festival, though.
Are the MG food locations in both Islands of Adventure and Studio?? We are doing IA in 2 weeks.
Awww man, I love you guys. Highlights were the terrible puns from Molly and the fantastic cow bell ringing from Alan 🥰
😂 I cannot stress enough how much I loved watching the beat builders part of the video. 😂
Uncle Dick's Big Dog Bloody Mary Mix. Hope this helps, and yes, it is sold at Spec's
Looks like an elephant ear. Man, I'm so enjoying your vlogs. 😍🎉🌞🎶
It's the British narration of the maple donut-thingy tasting for me! It's that part that made me hit subscribe, lol.
We love your videos and I knew you would do such a great job covering Universal Mardi Gras. The foods look so delicious. I love the Universal Mardi Gras event. It's so much fun and the parades are great.
@25:33 tell us how you really feel Molly 😂 I wondered if at some point y’all wanted kids! Guess not anytime soon at least 😂
Loved the video. It's fun to see the difference and similarities between Mardi grass and carnaval. I saw the festival doesn't have the Netherlands represented. carnaval is really big in the southern provinces. Spaetzle is made out of potatoes, mixed with flour, buttermilk, eggs, nutmeg to look like noodles.
@10:58 Fred over there looking a little like Barney Rubble and less like the strapping leader of the Mystery Gang lol.
Molly, is it Uncle Dicks Bloody Mary mix you are thinking of?
Question with the food card, can you purchase all types of beverages with it?
i always forget Abita beers are known worldwide… i live across the street from the brewery, and forget how significant it can be
The "canadian donut" we call it "beaver tails" 😂❤ so if you are ever in Canada you can look for it 🇨🇦
Omg Alan was absolutely hilarious 😂 wasn’t expecting that haha
Brazilian cheese bread is SO EASY to make at home.....hot tip
When you are eating that hot dog Molly, I think that was Adriana from Delish filming something. It’s funny when you see other vloggers in fellow vloggers videos.
Yes! She’s fabulous!
UNCLE DICK’S “TOP DOG” Bloody Mary Mix?
First like and comment, beautiful my dear friend 💖
Pretty cool Marci Gras well, I never been there before I’d love to go there… one day someday
Do you know if you can get the souvenir cup with nonalcoholic drinks?
Im so excited I found your channel. I realized a few weeks ago I hadn’t seen a video with you in so long when it was a daily routine for such a long time. I was so happy it recommended the channel to me so I can watch again. Your content is the best!!
Yay!! Welcome!
Molly thank you for giving a shout out to the plus sized dancers
