There's lots of ways. Most people cut the tree down and the bees will swarm out because of this. I don't want to cut this tree down. There's two simple ways. If you look in the hole and find that the hollow goes down, drill a hole down towards the bottom and pump smoke in and they will all come out. Making sure you get the queen. If the hollow goes up the tree, drill a hole at the top and smoke em. I'll run a camera into the hive this winter to get a good look at the inside so I know the best method to smoke em out in the spring.
