    I'm Lucio, from Brazil, and I think to learn English through movies is an excellent way to improve speaking. First, I try to understand and then I repeat the speaches as many times as I think I need .Thanks.

    Thanks Rachel, you're definitely doing a great job with your videos, I studied at an English school for 10 months, but the teacher never taught me how to speak like this. I mean "linking sounds" and I think that's the most important thing to do when you're learning a language. Because people speak in this way, I remember when I had my first conversation with a person from the U.S.A. I wasn't able to understand at all, cause, he spoke very fast and using a lot of linking sounds. And when you speak like this it sounds more natural and fluent. Once again thanks Rachel, keep it up.     I often listen to this Yutube slowdown(75%,50%,sometimes to 25%), and I imitate to pronunce. The importance is imitating the rhythm of a whole sentence.
    Rachel English is the treasure of us, we can learn a lot from it . Thank you very much.

    Hi Rachel,
    Imitating what actors say in the movies is good for the beginners like me but what makes me so passionate to learn English are songs .One of the songs I prefer to show its lyrics is " Hard to concentrate " sung by Red hot chely peppers .

      We ' re on the same page.Rachel helps us a lot to understand native Americans in movies I even watch now lifetime Americans movies without subtitles.And I can underestand 70 Percent of what they say. Slow and steady I ll be able to understand 100 percent. I highly recommend you the wrong sitter , the wrong stepfather...

      @@bacsitung3423 cái này tớ cũng tự học được khoảng 3,4 tháng rồi và giờ cũng hiểu 1 số nguyên tắc nối âm rồi nhưng hình như trong bài khá nhiều chỗ nối ,rồi cắt mà chưa học bao giờ.

    Great, It’s short conservation but it includes lot to learn... I think after 50 videos like this one any beginner will be fluent in listening to American pronunciation.
