Pilot Custom Heritage SE Fountain Pen in Blue Marble

I can't believe it took me so long to get a review of this fountain pen out but here we are! I bought this Pilot Custom Heritage SE fountain pen late last summer from A Pen Lover's Paradise. For whatever reason the first one I bought had a funky little spur on the nib and would not work smoothly for me. The shop owner was amazing as always and swapped pens for me.
This pen has a fine #5 rhodium-plated 14k gold nib.
This one has been a smooth writing pen and I have loved it. I needed a fine nib that was going to flow nicely as I tend to be a bit impatient with anything less than a medium. This pen has been great. It stays on my desk for the most part and so far I've been keeping either Noodler's Dark Matter or Bad Black Moccasin inked in it. I am loving the capacity of the Con-70 converter, but don't love actually filling with the push button as much as the traditional twist. It is very convenient!
Another great pen from Pilot that I will continue to enjoy.

I just purchased the Green Marble version at the St. Louis pen show. The material is absolutely mesmerizing. It was a hard choice between the colors. The red kept grabbing my attention but in my heart, the green was it for me!

Thank you for all the interesting videos! 😊👍🏻I got the Pilot Heritage 91 with a #5 M nib this winter. I sadly never use it because it writes like a B or BB and it gushes ink.
