There isn't one thing I don't love about this home. It's so bright & cheerful, yet cozy & down to earth. Even though it's living well above what most will ever experience. Lucky guy to have found it :)
I like the guy and the apartment. Not too big, not too packed, no over the top design- its a place where you can relax and enjoy life in the big city. Even the dog is chill🙂
This man, he just drew me in, I felt like I was a personal guest to his home. It is stunning. So inviting from the second you enter the tiny but oh so thoughtfully curated vestibule. I can just image lounging on the sofa with a glass of wine and good conversation, with a cool evening breeze coming in from that gorgeous terrace. It's so chique with all the topiary and greenery, so calming and relaxing. Truly a fantastic designer. And such a nice unpretentious man. Loved this.
A "secret" garden and peaceful home - in today's world I don't blame him for wanting alone time in his apartment. I enjoyed his tour and his sense of style.
Tim could give classes in home organization. I’m utterly impressed. He has a lot of things, but they are so well arranged that the apartment doesn’t look cluttered.
I absolutely am blown away by this apartment. Homeworthy is one of my ongoing joys, and this home is sublime. The color palate is perfect with the green giving it such a peaceful vibe. And that terrace....
I love Tim's indirect path to design and art consulting. Those outside perspectives no doubt have led to his excellent taste and passion for design. Love his dog too!
Impeccable taste, striking energy, and beautifully handsome! I really enjoyed his home tour! This one was such an upbeat treat! Thank you Homeworthy for allowing Mr. Whealon to share a piece of his life with us. It's not every day that you get to experience such a special soul.
Years ago I saw Mr. Whelan's NY apartment in a magazine and kept the pages filed away for years so I could continue to study every single, perfect detail. It was and remains my dream apartment. Thank you for providing me with so much inspiration. When I win the lottery you *will* be hearing from me 😉
Me giving my imaginary Homeworthy tour: "This is from Amazon. I ordered it the other day. This pillow is from Target, I like it. This vase over here I got on sale from Pottery Barn, so I really cherish it. This over here is a find from Home Goods I'm especially proud of...."
Funny, could be me here in Germany 😅 except that I never order from Amazon, nearly everything is thrifted, Second Hand, eBay, fleemarkets. But I love all these pieces😃
Totally stunning. Not overly decorated, tasteful, cozy in a sophisticated way and that includes his amazing outdoor space. Definitely one of the jewel areas of Manhattan. I am so loving his dog.
What an exquisite terrace, it is an oasis which must be fantastic for entertaining or unwinding. The green of boxwood is so timeless….The black iron on the windows is so exquisite. Great layout and flow from LR to Kitchen and the Kitchen is seamless with the laminated appliances….amazing place.
Beautiful apartment and terrace, a haven in the heart of bustling, crowded New York City, designed with artistic talent. Love your elephants! A special space for your precious dog too. As someone who lives near a city park, destroyed by people, I am all for private Gramercy Park, kept spectacularly beautiful and pristine because it is private. Just seeing it on a Homeworthy video is uplifting and calming.
I love, like, this gentleman glass bookshelf’s , the living room configuration with the terrace. His home is impeccable, simple but with elegant and comfortable.
Exquisite Apartment. The filming is top notch to capture the colour, the light and give us the detail plus wide angle views that are not often seen with other channels. Brava to the team!
I have seen this lovely home before and it’s as much of a pleasure the second time. How I would love to sit next to this interesting, clever, cultured and learned man at a dinner on that stunning terrace and listen to him speaking with all his knowledge experience. That Italian piece in the bedroom was absolutely divine. ❤ and the park !
This is what set homeworthy apart. She started this channel doing these sorts of tours and I really think this is what maintains the integrity of her channel. Please continue to make this kind of content.
I love your apartment. You have brilliant taste and a lovely calm personality and your house speaks of it.Your outside area is stunning and inspiring, and the art all over is what I also like to do. A relaxing, homely home and luxurious as well.
This is a stunning home, I love everything about it. Tim has such exquisite taste and style, classy yet comfy and the terrace is to die for. Definitely one of my fave Homeworthy tours 🥰
Good Lord! His home is perfection. I’m not attracted to modern art but his collection is so inviting to me. Would love to see a series where Homeworthy tours the homes of designers. I’d love to see a series on his work. Such a charming man.
I believe there was an earlier, shorter version of this home several years ago. Tim Whelan's eye is an inherent gift --- and it is impeccable -- so glad he got out from under banking and let his creative spirit soar. This home is one of my favorites and "bookmarked" it the first time I saw it. The home is considered, everything to scale and nothing odd or akward. I will be "bookmarking" this longer version of the home as well because it is inspirational and excellent for reference. Thanks so much for the tour and love your Ollie --- he is such a good boy!
Yes, saw the shorter version too some years ago. When I later wanted to find it again I found articles instead: about terrible drama concerning the appartement. Their appeared a gigantic black spot above the bed, he had to leave because of the odor etc. and insurance was a huge topic, wonder how it went from there...
As a retired decorator, upholsterer and interior designer, all qualified in UK , city and Guilds . This man has style . The awning love it , I would sit there when it rains , it would calm me . ❤ healthy boxus . I have crab apple in pots . So much detail , into texture , lighting , reflective items and pattern , very simple colours repeated . Love Farrow & ball too xxx
What a jewel box!! Hands down, this is my favorite NYC apartment...... and always has been since first seeing it several years ago on another channel. Interesting to see the changes..... particularly the different art.
I love this lacquered white and light infused apartment that Tim has curated for his part introverted, part extroverted self. The terrace. There's a mood and tone that is peaceful and living.
What a beautiful place! I love love love. The outdoor with the boxwood Ah!!! I had to rewind and play it over again. I love the furniture and decor, simple. and stylish. This is what I love watching in Homeworthy. Thanks for letting us see your beautiful home
Timothy has a wonderful sense of calmness and his apartment really accentuates his vibe. His clean lines and functional storage spaces are absolutely terrific! So much storage! I would love to see more of his designed spaces!
I knew it, I knew it, he’s from the northern midwest! Because his personality is so welcoming and sentimental. He of course, has a lot more knowledge and style than the average midwestern person, but can explain design, etc. to us regular folks! I so enjoyed this home tour! (Does Oliver get to walk in the park, or does he take his walks on the regular streets! What an adorable, cuddly dog!🐶❤️)
Absolutely exquisite. What a generous tour of a stunning home, with everything in its place, and a place for everything. And that terrace! A place of dreams. Thank you, Timothy, for showing us that you can achieve both beauty and practicality in a small space, with an abundance of personal style. Swoon!
I’ve watched this a couple of times it’s just so beautiful and Tim is so lovely and engaging. This is the best Homeworthy I’ve seen yet, thank you so much for inviting us into your amazing space🥰🥰
I just love the inside and outside of this wonderful apartment. So beautiful and peaceful. I can see why he is “utterly happy” here. Such an enviable living space.
I LOVE the story about the Lilly of the Valley! so special! I love also the stacks of books you have ... I do the same. My kids think its too weird, but I think it looks like I'm Smart! You have got to get the Book " The Journey of the Lost Reindeer on Rt 34". It is adorable.! I love all the white lacquered cabinets.!!!! The Black and White are so chic! My mother was French and when my sister and I were little we had twin beds with BandW striped bed skirts. I hated it! But now ...... I think my mother was is so cool and that is why I think ourside the box. AS my friends still have their wooden hearts to decorate with...... That is ok ,, If you like that sort of thing.! I love everything that you did! Love it all!!!!!
Every single thing in this apartment ticks every box in my make-believe, perfect dream-home. The neighbourhood, the planted terrace, the arrangement of the space, the furnishings and textiles, the art on the walls, the lacquered cabinets/closets ... and that black and white upholstered high-backed chair in the bedroom! If heaven existed, this would be it.
A very, very beautiful home - possibly the most beautiful I have seen on this channel (which is saying something). And he's a man with exquisite taste - I love how he has blended old and new with the overall theme of things he loves. As someone who is about to reluctantly downsize he has given me a lot of practical ideas and inspiration for a smaller space. That terrace is to die for. Thank you for sharing.
It's so interesting to see a New York City apartment. It was perfectly decorated and the outdoor space was fabulous. Truly a sanctuary right in the city. How wonderful to have access to the beautiful park. 😊
A gorgeous home but that terrace is absolute heavenly. When ever I am in NYC and see trees upwards I am reminded of Stewart Mott, from my hometown (Flint, Michigan) who was one of the first NYC residents to introduce the concept of rooftop gardens for growing flower, vegetable, and fruit gardens. It's wonderful to see Mr. Whealon is carrying on that tradition - it's beautiful.
I do not want to miss a thing you do! I love your philosophy on goo design and I sincerely appreciate your kind an sharing personality. Thank you for such a visual treat.
This is so beautiful... I have to save this one. This is completely my style. Love the touch of green(favorite color). The terrace is so cozy. I would like to see more of his work. Love it!
The terrace is so beautiful.. Black, white and green are the best colour combination. The apartment interior looks amazing as well. Kudos to the home owners taste and flair. ❤
This is one classy guy! You can go to all the schools that you want, of course but his talent and beautiful taste comes from within. Some people are just born with good taste and know how to do it. A great designer, to me, is every bit of an artist that paints a painting, or a great musician, something temporal. And he has a terrific dog!!!
This is one of the best homeworthy I’ve seen, this man has exquisite taste
Fabulous! I think this is one of my favourites. My home is also black and white with green being my favourite colour.
Totally agree. This man has such a great sense of style
Agree

The rooftop terrace is amazing.
I like the guy and the apartment. Not too big, not too packed, no over the top design- its a place where you can relax and enjoy life in the big city. Even the dog is chill🙂
love his calm energy. what a beautiful, peaceful home

This is one of my favourites. Such classic, thoughtful design. Sophisticated traditional.
A "secret" garden and peaceful home - in today's world I don't blame him for wanting alone time in his apartment. I enjoyed his tour and his sense of style.
A real jewel in NYC. Owner has extremely good taste and has made his home heaven on earth in the middle of a buzzling city.
He found an amazing property and location, and made it into an oasis. 🌲
Tim could give classes in home organization. I’m utterly impressed. He has a lot of things, but they are so well arranged that the apartment doesn’t look cluttered.
Not so sure, there are some elements that are missing in his space.

Why do I like this man so much? I could listen to him talk forever.
The purest form of place and happiness.
Tim's intellect informs his home design. A lovely tour, thank you!
He wasn't wrong about Ollie: he's the coolest, cutest dog! Must be because he's Canadian. 😍😍
Years ago I saw Mr. Whelan's NY apartment in a magazine and kept the pages filed away for years so I could continue to study every single, perfect detail. It was and remains my dream apartment. What nothing from Nigeria? Peasant!
Funny, could be me here in Germany 😅 except that I never order from Amazon, nearly everything is thrifted, Second Hand, eBay, fleemarkets. But I love all these pieces😃
Sounds just like me😂😂
😆😆😆
You forgot “ this is the key to my front door” 😆
Totally stunning. Not overly decorated, tasteful, cozy in a sophisticated way and that includes his amazing outdoor space. Definitely one of the jewel areas of Manhattan. I am so loving his dog.
A beautiful apartment with that amazing terrace. Thank you so much for sharing with us. I really enjoyed the walk through the park.

What a fantastic home. I'm an introvert. I'd never leave! Except to take the dog to the park!
No dog walking in the park allowed, nor bird feeding , not even photography, so this channel broke some rules.
I love, like, this gentleman glass bookshelf’s , the living room configuration with the terrace. His home is impeccable, simple but with elegant and comfortable.
Love the outside terrace! The apartment is such a cozy place. He has everything he needs there. Wonderful!
Exquisite Apartment. The filming is top notch to capture the colour, the light and give us the detail plus wide angle views that are not often seen with other channels. Brava to the team!
I saw this home in many magazines and online photos. Now I get to enjoy the full home tour of this wonderful apartment
I have seen this lovely home before and it’s as much of a pleasure the second time. How I would love to sit next to this interesting, clever, cultured and learned man at a dinner on that stunning terrace and listen to him speaking with all his knowledge experience. I feel calm and relaxed just watching this! He has created a beautiful oasis. Love this!!!
One of my favorite episodes
The most beautiful apartment I've ever seen,I want it!! The terrace is magnificent.❤
Gramercy Park is my favorite part of the city ❤
The outdoor space is amazing! The host is a rare unpretentious gentleman! Hands down my favorite homeworthy episode
What a treat to see this beautiful apartment in NYC. 🙌🏻
This is what set homeworthy apart. She started this channel doing these sorts of tours and I really think this is what maintains the integrity of her channel. Please continue to make this kind of content.
Absolutely gorgeous home!
Everything you did and all your art and furnishings are so beautiful tasteful and interesting. That terrace! Again, this is a NYC dream apartment
I love his passion for the beauty of each and every item in his apartment, which is beautiful.
This is by far my favorite NYC apartment tour ever! His home is stunning and I love the terrace.
I love your apartment. You have brilliant taste and a lovely calm personality and your house speaks of it.Your outside area is stunning and inspiring, and the art all over is what I also like to do. A relaxing, homely home and luxurious as well.
What a gorgeous man Tim is! So natural, this is one of my favourite homes and owners you’ve ever visited. Absolutely loved this.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE your apartment. The usage of plants is something I would've done but you've done it better.
A great home owner, relaxed and great narrator of his life.
One of the best apartment tours I have seen. Timothy's taste is exquisite
This is a stunning home, I love everything about it. Tim has such exquisite taste and style, classy yet comfy and the terrace is to die for. Definitely one of my fave Homeworthy tours 🥰
I LOVE this apartment! the terrace! the photograph above the bed is divine! I could move in and not change a thing
Good Lord! His home is perfection. I’m not attracted to modern art but his collection is so inviting to me. Would love to see a series where Homeworthy tours the homes of designers. I’d love to see a series on his work. Such a charming man.
I would do anything for that terrace!!! And that fountain 😫 so beautiful
Your home is your home and it is you all over again; fortunate to reside at Gramercy Park, NY. Thank you for sharing!

Beautiful dog and of course home
The light it’s amazing ❤
OOOoooooo I just want to be invited in for a cocktail there! LOVELY!
What a kind man ❤. I want to go furniture shopping with him. If he helps me. I'll cook him a good dinner 😅. Love his space.
Oh WOW!!i love this apartment ,the terrace is a definite oasis ♥️

Lovely in every way. It is truly a home! Thank you Homeworthy.
Absolutely fantastic ! Was a real treat to see his place which gives off immense sense of peace and tranquility .
Now this is type of videos I like to watch. Real great design and real great people. How lucky to be working for Sotheby’s. Great job.
I’m IN LOVE with your books and bookcases - great taste in Art too
What a beautiful place! I love love love. The outdoor with the boxwood Ah!!! I had to rewind and play it over again. I love the furniture and decor, simple. and stylish. This is what I love watching in Homeworthy. Thanks for letting us see your beautiful home
The perfect appartment for a single person. I love everything 😊❤
That terrace is AMAZING!!!
if i was to live in the city, this is the way i would want to do it. the terrace transforms it
Exquisite apartment. Please showcase these types of home that have so much character and personality as well as design.
Beautiful. Great home.
Timothy has a wonderful sense of calmness and his apartment really accentuates his vibe. His clean lines and functional storage spaces are absolutely terrific! So much storage! I would love to see more of his designed spaces!
loved this tour. Thank you so much. I grew up just a few blocks from Gramercy Park so this tour was extra special
I like that it feels more like a "home"(house) than an apartment.

What a wonderful tour. The apartment and terrace are perfection. This host is generous and down to earth. Thank you for showing us Gramercy Park!
Beautiful apartment, elegant and cosy
Magnifique appartement plein de petits détails qui font la différence et montrent le bon goût de son propriétaire… et le vert 💚

As a former New Yorker, I can only say magical, tasteful, lucky! I am a tad jealous for sure ❤
This home has decorated itself as an extension of the owner. Very welcoming and interesting.
This is one of the best episodes. There was so much heart.
I’ve watched this a couple of times it’s just so beautiful and Tim is so lovely and engaging. This is the best Homeworthy I’ve seen yet, thank you so much for inviting us into your amazing space🥰🥰

Okay how many FAVORITE Homeworthy tours can one have? 😊I don’t know the answer but this is definitely one of them ! Fabulous in all respects 🌟
The rooftop terrace is amazing! Well edited and with great taste. Great inspiration for my small rented apartment.
This is so beautiful... I have to save this one. This is completely my style. Love the touch of green(favorite color). The terrace is so cozy. I would like to see more of his work. Love it!

Absolutely delightful - exquisite apartment, park, and tour. Timothy Whealon could make a fabulous series of the art and architecture of New York.
His taste… out of this world! So beautiful!
