@@puzzle_boy Yeahhhh a lot of people write Denji off as just some horny jerk, but this is mostly a thing attributed to the fact the anime was only 12 eps because the anime hasn't gotten to the point where it truly explores his character. Denji is just a broken and traumatized teen who barely got to experience happiness in life, and is a victim of all kinds of abuse which takes a mental toll on him visible in the story.
I won't say anything else cause it's hard to without getting into spoilers, but yes it is indeed worth picking up imo.

Honestly the two main characters complement each other. We have Eren who is a hero turned tragic villain who was chasing after freedom ultimately for himself, and then we have Thorfinn, a vengeful boy full of regrets wanting to seek peace not only for himself, but those weaker than him. Both use opposite methods to reach their goals.
Id recommend you to watch monster and read vagabond and berserk if you can digest slow paced but deeply philosophical stories

Bleach and JoJo's will most definitely jump multiple slots. You've arguably seen only the worst of JoJo's as of now and the quality difference between OG Bleach and TYBW is night and day.
The major difference is still just art quality and compositing. Oh bleach and movies still easily clears tybw when it comes to animation and direction

Dropped Bleach last year after watch 260/270 eps. Imo it's too boring, and overused plot armor.
I like the Soul Society arc though, and might will pick up again to see TYBW.
And Jojo, some parts are great, but the rest are not really, but overall i really enjoyed it.

I was finally convinced to check it out over the past few seasons, and I can say without exaggeration that it was probably one of the best decisions I've made in my life (especially when it came to watching Season 2). I always love the debate between One Piece and Naruto. Many prefer the adventures, the world building and the comedy, so choose One Piece. Others prefer the character development and the strong message delivered by a story and choose Naruto. Two great animes. I love adventures and comedy and that's why I love One Piece, but I put very much importance to the story and the message that it delivers, to the raw emotions that it makes me feel. Naruto has provoked in me such raw emotions that no other anime could achieve.
The Talk No Jutsu which is used to deride Naruto, that's for me the strongest point of this masterpiece. Something no other anime has treated as good as Naruto did. That is what we need in our world. A strong Talk No Jutsu to settle things and conflicts and never violence. "I believe... that someday the day will come when people truly understand one another! If I can't find the answer, it will be up to you to do itl". What a quote! Jiraiya speaks not only to Naruto, but to each new generation, since the older ones already failed. He speaks to us. That's why I always pick Naruto over One Piece. It transcends the context of its story and comes to us, in our reality, and it's still authentic and full of values.

Yeah Steins Gate definitely, Odd taxi is very unique show so also has a chance
I’m honestly really stoked to see Nick’s mind get blown by S3 of MT. The next cour will be spectacular if done justice! Overall, pretty fair rankings, though I personally haven't gotten too far with One Piece or Naruto. Also Vinland is not even halfway done, so it too early to say that its absolutely staying where it is.
I really hope he watches Made in Abyss at some point, cause I think that show will bring great reactions one way or another!

As someone who has Naruto and One piece in the top 1 and 2 spots, I think his reasoning for One piece being slightly higher is valid even if I dont have it there. If Naruto had more chapters that focusing on the Ninja Villages and the side cast it would have been so peak. It is its biggest flaw, the world building is so limited yet had so much potential. Instead it feels like the story rushed to introduce them in the 5Kage summit and war arc. One Piece took its time introducing so many unique places and characters that when the final war comes it will most likely be a much better payoff.
Yeah but I wouldnt say the world building in Naruto is bad, its just different... You could say the world in naruto is a villain, because it created every one of them.
I still Remember when minato said to naruto: "it is true that pain killed jirayia, but you could say the world itself did it".
Naruto's universe and characters were so good that it disappointed us because it didn't go beyond that. Naruto's story mostly revolved around Naruto and Sasuke and this is definitely a matter of preference. This provided great character development and depth. On the other hand, One Piece focused on side characters but the main characters couldn't experience character development in such an epic adventure and remained in average depth. Everything is a matter of preference. Also, One Piece is on the decline for me. I think it was definitely better before the timeskip :)

It has cool powers, epic stages, villains like Bleach, and it has a good worldbuilding and story, although not as good as One Piece. That's why it has so many haters. It is a rival of every big series in one way or another. Excessive fandom leads to hatred for other series, unfortunately :(

Exactly my problem with naruto. I never got to see lee, tenten, neji,temari and many other characters show off their best.
Meanwhile in one piece, the best moments are mainly when strawhats arent on the scene. We get to see the changes in the entire world of one piece.

Hajime no Ippo (My personal S-rank sports anime)
Samurai Champloo (Super relaxing, maybe even better than Cowboy Bebop)
Space Dandy (Super crazy, probably the funniest anime I've ever seen)
Soul Eater (The characters and fights are insanely awesome)
I believe all of these anime have at least the potential to reach Nick's A-rank.

I’m watching One Piece for the first time right now, but it’s crqzy Nick says Naruto is too reliant on its main cast when the only main cast character which is a personal favorite is Kakashi. Now if you consider the whole hidden leaf as the main cast I guess that’s different, but at that point that’s dozens of ninja 💀

@@mem5860The thing is aot cant continue. Aot is a masterpiece because its story. The story of aot never can be streach like one piece. One piece world is so big and it has so many islands and characters. You can have so many spin off series about those characters and most of them still would be 10/10. For aot it is masterpiece because its focus on its main character a lot.there is no way aot would have been 10/10 if it continue for more than 100 episodes.
And aot has a perfect ending too one piece will also have a perfect ending for sure.both of those shows are god tire but they are so different.

Punk Hazard was just a set-up arc so I didn’t mind it cause it also did its job. I’m more afraid for Dressrosa with how terribly it’s paced

Still I believe Naruto focuses more on Character and Character Development. If You watch Naruto you watch it solely because of the characters you're emotionally attached to them and that's the Beauty of it...
And One Piece is about the world like you said. I love both but for me i am little more biased towards naruto, because I wanna live in the hidden leaf village so bad .. 😅
For me Naruto even though it has some amazing characters, in my opinion it failed in terms of how bad it portrays female characters with very minimum screen time and the side characters from his school batch like Shino, Kiba or even Neji and Rock Lee. Shippuden didn't explore them enough since OG Naruto really made these characters look promising. But the characters which are focused someone like Itachi or Kakashi they are really developed characters. Sasuke could be one of the most developed characters even if he is loved or hated by some.
I loved OG Nauto because I truly believed the author felt more about writing character psychology and growth with it.
But in shippuden, I felt like I was cheated and became so garbage in it's character writing and somehow none of the characters actually change and just stick to their obsession.
Yea naruto is my fav anime even after watching most of these anime even one piece but it’s sad how underdeveloped the side characters were tho, it’s so confusing asw, how kishimoto can create one of the best written characters in fiction like pain or ppl like that, I jus wished he could’ve planned it out like one piece, explored more, had more arcs to flesh people out and had more time, would even say it had the most potential out of any anime if it explored its unique world.

Honestly choosing mha over demon slayer still stings but it is his personal taste so I cannot argue .Since he consumed much more episodes of mha than ds it is natural for him to side with mha .Also mha is always towards its end while demon slayer has not even reached its peak yet.Demon slayer movies I will say it many times will transcend and shake the whole anime community in general.
