@@CPPMechEngTutorials i actually dont understand how the two tubes are different, and how they would actually record different readings? Any vids on that?
Hi, as i have taught the head losses of pump when put to the right of equ we give it negative sign whereas( hL) and (hT) have positive sign as they put on the right of equ... thank you for the great video and good job hope you continue to uploading more vids..
9 months later. If there are no energy gains or losses, EGL does not descend nor ascend. If there are no velocity changes, HGL remains parallel to EGL.
Love the static pressure taps and pitot tubes shown at the end! It really ties things together :)
And it's all true!

Excellent explanation and graphics. Thank you so much.
Fantastic and brilliant explanation! I genuinely appreciate it!!!!!
Thanks for the feedback.

As long as the signs are consistent, you can put any term on either side of the equation.
Beautiful explanation, I was searching for exactly this video.
Glad you found it!
Thank you very much.
No problem.
such an exellent video! keep it up.
We will. :)
quaoooooo, your explanation is extraordinary, thanks a lot
what holistic vedio .... good bless you ... nonetheless, I have a question, what does turbine in the system mean ?
thank you so much for this video, it simplifies everything.
No problem.
Beautiful video. Keep up the good work
Will do!
Love it nd it's our assignment task today
Why didnt egl change when flowing through higher to lower diameter ?
Pressure decreased -> velocity increased

Amazing video!
Excellent explanation !!!
Thanks!!
great video mate i appreciate it :) helped me clear up some things
Great!
It's easy to understand,thnks!!
Nice video. All in one
Thanks, Useful information, Exams Ahead...🙏
Good luck!
I love this video so much. Thank you
Spread the love around.
Is gravirty g not missing below p in the formel ? Egl= p/gy + v2/2*g+z. Hgl= p/gy+z
The specific weight (gamma) is equal to density times g.
+CPPMechEngTutorials thanks for the clarification
No problem.
This was so helpful!
Hooray!
Thank you for the video, it was very helpful and graphic.
Glad it helped. EGL and HGL are nice ways to visualize energy, a concept that is very abstract.
Explained nicely
clarified our doubts...thanq soo much...
nice explanation easy to understand
Glad it helped.
Awesome , Thanks so much
Good video, lot better than my prof
Thanks
Thanks 😊
Fantastic video. Short, concise and clear. The static tubes for measuring the HGL, are those also know as piezometers?
Yes, that can be called piezometers or piezometer tubes.
Easy explanation! Thanks!
You're welcome!
Thank you!!!
I'm impressed with this video. thank you !!!
Thanks a lot
thanku mann its so much helpfull
Great!
well done
Thank you.
so worth
essentially ... EGL & HGL are same same, but different. Just as confused after the video as before ahaha fml
One has V^2/2g, the other does not.
Good one👍
Thanks
