45 millions de dollars américains. 175 chambres. Plus de 200 emplois directs. Un engagement de s'approvisionner en produits locaux. L'hôtel Marriott de Port-au-Prince accueillera à partir de la deuxième quinzaine de mars ses premiers clients et donne un coup de pouce aux voyages d'affaires, au tourisme et à l'économie haïtienne. Pour l'ancien président américain Bill Clinton, c’est une grande occasion de montrer au monde entier qu’Haïti peut recevoir de bons investissements. En plus d'être un hôtel, l'immeuble est un concentré de solutions technologiques en termes de génération d'électricité solaire, de traitement de l'eau usée et de climatisation.
I thank God for opening this big door in Haiti, :-) wow!!!! I could cry right now. I love Haiti and I love my Haitian people, My co-workers and I previously worked at a Marriott property in Orlando, Fl We Haitians are unique with our own style. In the U.S. I previously worked at a Marriott property as an independent contractor; Marriott World Center is one of my favorite hotels-- that Company is the bomb!!!!They are so easy to work with, I love doing business with them, and working on their properties. I'm hoping for a luxury transportation company at this Marriott in Haiti!!!! Since Marriott bought Gaylord hotels I'm praying they open a Gaylord , Ritz Carlton or Rennaissiance hotel in Haiti also.
