I've seen Fabio drop a tune, run to the dance floor, start skanking, run back and reload the tune and run back to the dance floor... Bad man 😂

OG masters, these 2 will always be my go to for solid original tracks and mixes.
I remember Grooverider back in the day.. World Dance at Wembley Conference Centre.... The main arena was so hot it was raining off the ceiling. Some of it was hitting the decks... and Grooverider just mixed it out badboy style :D
Lydd airport used to do the same lol , happy days 😅

While there's all kinds of bass on offer here, the Drum in DnB is gone really, it's just all bum click. Bum click, over and overevery tune, start sampling breakbeats again, where's the funk?
i know exactly what you mean bro, check this mix out, it definitely does more than just bum click, bum-click: soundcloud.com/fatkidonfire/ruffan-x-fatkidonfire-170-mix-march13
Tune at 31:27 ???
Tune at 54:40 ????
No twiddly knob posing here!! The ORIGINAL selectors...
Thank god!!!
I was thinking the same thing.
What is all that knob twiddling?? I see it a lot with all these ‘fake’ DJ’s who don’t know what vinyl is lol.
I never twiddled. I used the cross fader a lot! I don’t get why these guys all leave the fader in the middle and use the levels to fade; I used my fader like a weapon
@@rezaq1 Well back in the day you had to use the volume levels because bell ends would smash the x fader from left to right and cause it to bleed through and the clubs/promoters were usually too stingy to get them fixed LOL.🤣
Came to my mind in the first minutes straight..
Most big level DNB djs seem like they're racing to see who can fit the most tunes in a set, Fabio out here letting the tracks breath.
1000% agree! It seems everyone is about the drops and no buildups. Not hating at all, just different styles and I appreciate everyone's own style.
Fabio is a DJ not a pretence. A lot of these ''DJs'' are just doing it because it looks cool, or they think it looks cool. But dem a fool
Aaay, I just looked down and saw the word breath after my comment.
'Don't look down'..Is the best advice for any comment section within social media. Hur hur...
Perhaps it was subliminal but I couldn't agree more.
Where have they been? Take it back!
I don't mind sets that have 100 tracks in 40 minutes, but on the other hand sets like fabios are a rare breed now and just as great
Well that style of drum & Bass DJing is known as liquid drum and bass. Where the constant transition of tracks maintains a progressive consistency.
Pioneers !!! And don’t mean the decks 😂
bruh the fucking leadersssss
That sounds like something Bassman would say🤣
Where’s the 1210’s ! As much as I love these guys and this music they know in their heart of hearts that goin BPM on a set of pioneers ain’t DJing! Sorry but I’m a snob like that!!!!
Not funny
PIONEER crap comment
Fabio came to play a small party in Dallas, TX back in Nov-Dec '19. It was a small crowd but Fabio just kept piling on the bangers well past closing time because we were all so hype. I know it's nothing like the UK scene out here in Texas but you could definitely tell he respected the energy!
Damn I wish I was there 🥺
Sounds great mate🇬🇧Nothing like security and club owner being into the vibe and calling for One More👍🇬🇧👍
WOW Texas meets drum n bass.

Biography
32 Degrees was the brainchild of Phil Hardwick, Howell Pugh, and Andrue Oliver as a way to bring the emerging sounds of Drum&Bass/Jungle to the Dallas massive. These early events were a unifying force within the scene, as they gave the local junglists an outlet to play this "new" sound. Most of the DJ's, producers, MC's you see today were at those early parties, brocking out or playing the tunes that shaped our current scene. The first events were held at a little club in Deep Ellum called Dread 'n' Irie. With a 300 person capacity it didn't take long to fill out the venue for the quasi-regular events. Slowly the sounds of Drum&Bass were filling the local raves and renegades in and around Dallas.
It didn't take very long before 32 Degrees was a staple at most raves, as there was rarely a party where the crew wasn't rinsing out a side room. Unfortunatly, though, the raves scene was undergoing a gradual decline and the larger parties became few and far between. Although the crew was quite happy to be playing, we soon grew weary of playing small side rooms on minimal soundsystems, and it was time to make a change. This also marked the closure of the one of the only "rave-friendly" venues in the city, the Dallas Music Complex.
Enter the second level of the 32 Degrees progression. The was a turn-over within the crew as member Andrue Oliver moved onto other pursuits, leaving control in the hands of Wes Stubblefield, James Roberts, Phil Hardwick and Howell Pugh. With this change brought a new soundsystem and a renewed energy. With the lack of quality events happening in the city, we took it upon ourselves to fill the void. The very first large scaled event was "Legend" featuring DJ's Barry Weaver, Nigel Richards, E-Sassin, Casper and Bobble....soon however the venue used for the event, Dallas Music Complex was closing. James and Wes set out to find a venue that would allow the crew to play Drum&Bass on their terms, and create a space that filled the venue void left by the closing of the DMC.
Decibel was found in January of 99, and the slow tedious process of transforming it from a truck transmission warehouse to a viable dance space began...The time table was set so that the first large scale 32 Degrees shows were to coincide with the opening of Decibel but unfortunatley, it wasn't ready just yet. James was able to locate Old Fort Dallas just south of Dallas for those first all Drum&Bass events. These events, "Presha 99 and Tech 5000" really proved that Dallas was ready for the full D&B onslaught. Tech 5000 was also the first event that featured UK D&B talent in Dallas, and was the first of many appearances of Technical Itch and Decoder. The event was a serious rinse-out and proved that the scene was prepared.
The grand opening of Decibel featured the likes of DJ Trace, Fierce, and MC Rymetyme, on a blazing night in May. As Decibel began to take shape so did the scope of the 32 Degrees event calendar. Soon our sound branched out (with James being a Househead it was only a matter of time!) and we started to do house and drum&bass events on a regular basis. During this time a long list of international talent rolled through the doors of Decibel. Other local crews, like Prototype, UMS, Household, Undefined Styles, Upbeat, Where's Waldis and several others used Decibel for some of their events, making it the premier party place in Dallas.
Things rolled along fine for over 9 months, with over 40 events being held there, before a sudden and immediate closure by the Dallas Fire Marshall, despite having all the necessary and appropriate permits needed to run a dance venue. We believe there were lots of contributing factors in the closure of the building. Now however decisions are being made and it may be time to make a another change in the future of 32 Degrees.
Stay tuned.....
First seen grooverider at the eclipse in Coventry in 1991. Sweat dripping down the walls, floor wobbling in the main room, no sense of reality. I miss those days 😎💗
Same here mate mad place
I was there I remember that
Was the best club in the country back in the day
First time I saw these guys was whilst working at the mezzanine Wolverhampton, also saw Goldie, legends
Great times the eclipse was my local. There was no better place to be back then. All the top djs played there. The last amnesia house at the eclipse was a crazy mental night best night there by far
And I hadn’t even even watched Grooverider yet. Wow! Absolute gods of UK music. Bassy, Dirty, Funky, Soulful music. It’s Batman and Superman playing Drum and Bass. Surely, no one with a functioning human soul can not love this
I love that description, Batman and Superman playing music.

@@-M0LE For real!!
Big up the pirate radio crew that remember when this sound ruled London's airwaves. Super Sundays on Kool FM were unparalleled. Stevie Hyper D and Nicky Blackmarket in the afternoon and Brockie & Det at night followed by Bryan Gee. Miss those days. Rude FM and Rinse FM were also slamming back in the 90s.
@@-M0LE Much love to Bristol crew. Honestly you had a great scene up there. In fact it was all on scene. The record labels and producers you had and still have is epic. Roni Size, DJ Krust, DJ Die, DJ Suv, Dynamite MC are all innovators. Dope Dragon, Full Cycle and Philly Blunt were my favourite labels. Big up the Bristol crew. Pirate radio for life!!
@@TakeMeBackPirateRadio Used to love Don FM and Centreforce as well, I'd stay up through the night taping them (if I could get a decent enough signal) whenever my family stayed at my uncles in Croydon circa 93/94, still got some tapes in the loft somewhere, should digitize and upload them really...
@@MultiGuvnor That was a golden era and all those recording you have must get digitised. Centreforce and Don FM were epic stations. The FM dial was crammed with top pirate radio stations and we were spoilt for choice. Raving back then I was having the time of my life.

Wee tiny bit longer.. These Daddies were playin to crowds of 20 000 way b4.

Mr. Rider, your ‘97 or ‘98 Dreamscape set (MC Flux was the MC) was a big turning point in my life when I was strictly turntablism and hip hop. Your mix (and the hit of E I was on) sucked me into being (and forever staying) a Junglist. Thank you, sir. You have unknowingly played a hugely pivotal role in my musical life and I love ya for it. ✊
Great times they were. Flux and Grooverider were also residents at One Nation. They used to mash up those nights. Big up all the Island Music Arena ravers.

Some dirty beats here. Saw Fabio and Groove play in Dakota, Bristol, in about '98. I've had tinnitus ever since 😁

I was really surprised that I have listen through the whole Grooveriders set and shaked my head to every single tune. I mean listening kind of stuff, I am getting tired after a really short time, cause all of these noisy sound, despite I enjoy it sometimes, but not with this set! It's like mixed very well with awesome bad ass tunes selection. Of course it's a Grooverider, I know who that is and always loved to listen him before. But I haven't heard his music for a long time and switched to more mellow and atmospheric. All I want to say, that his magic still works, after all these years! What a solid performer, thumbs up!
