IN THIS SCENE: A look at Dr. Zinn's views on non-violence and civil disobedience and his actions as a leader seeking to bring an end to the Vietnam War.
ABOUT THE FILM: In these turbulent times, Howard Zinn is inspiring a new generation. This acclaimed film looks at the amazing life of the renowned historian, activist and author. I would but its has a racist cover. So i will not fincially support such ignorance. Why dont you read Race And Culture: A World View by Thomas Sowell. Then maybe you will have some perspective rather than your narrow liberal view of the United States.

One need only do a search for: "People vs America" in google to see the gross errors committed by the government. The American people are now holding "America" responsible for liable. The Government has not put enough effort into: "In order to form a more perfect union.." This union means: "to bring together and work to the good thereof" will lawsuits fix this, no only making the people that file them wealthy. The gov. really needs to make mass concessions back to the people to correct this.

An excellent example of civil Disobedience, unfortunatly unions are behind the times now that there is a better way to get your message out publicly with-out the help of the media, Civil Information Activism, please take a look at how this works at CIActivist, thank you for your bravery.

OK, I'm with you on all your points, however, why is it that you think Zinn is suggesting we dont have laws? I think you are missing his point, or I'm missing something... a non violent acts of un cooperation is not breaking the law of man, it serves to reverse the law of man which is not in line with a law of God which is a synonym for a law that favors what is ideal for humanity... in this case the law of the draft, I'm assuming.. this has nothing to do w a bunch of people wanting chaos.

"white collar" crimes affect way more civilians than crimes by individuals & small groups & yes, the need for a system that protects forward movement & keeps a society from falling into chaos is not the issue... however, this kind of activity is the answer to the widespread "white collar" crimes by the military & medical industrial complexes... objectioners need to be allowed & have a right to express themselves & our forefathers saw the need for this... this is how the U.S. came into existence.
