Hi, thank you so much for the video, Mine is working and it changes presets on Helix Native in reaper after following all your steps. The only problem I have is that there is a gap of almost 1 second when I press the switches in the M wave chocolate o change the presets in Helix Native. Could you please explain me how can I fix this gap and improve the speed when I change the presets so I can use it to play live?
Hello @allanbain661, thank you for reaching out to us. Once you program the Chocolate controller you will not have to do it again unless you want to make changes. @@guitarschoollive SOLVED. I didn't have "Record Montoring" ON on the MIDI track. Once that was turned on it worked. Now I just have a question around latency. Is there a way to speed up latency because changing the button now does work but seems a bit it's not as instant as I thought
Hello @jondnz, you’ve entered the world of what’s faster; Midi cables or USB. On paper USB is faster, however that depends greatly on how quickly the hardware that’s transmitting the midi signal can convert it to travel over USB. Once it is converted you’re now bound by how quickly can the receiving hardware convert it back. Sometimes jitter is introduced which causes even more latency. Raw Midi doesn’t have the speed of USB on paper, but since it doesn’t have the above problems in the real world it seems faster. To answer your question, your latency will change from system to system with USB. You will learn how to adjust your playing to catch pedal changes at the right moment. Keep Jammin’ Guitar School Live

This works great, thank you. But the expression pedal jumps from 0 to 99. Is there a way to calibrate it?
How Can i programm it to change to more than 4 presets ?
will I have to repeat the same process if I want to use it again after turning everything off?

Can't get this to work. Followed all the steps but I don't see an option fo "USB MIDI" instead I see "Jieli Technology - SINCO" and it changes nothing
