When I taught school in the 50’s early 60’s the maintenance man gave every classroom a few small bags of saw dust. We kept one in our desk drawer and a couple in the “cloak room”. If a child got sick 🤢 it was handy to sprinkle
on the sick. It chased the nasty smell and made clean up easier. Don’t know what they do today. Thanks for the nostalgic memory.
