Dude, enjoy those low miles for that pay. Do you want to see the junk I get I get eight dollars for seven point something miles or $12 for almost the same amount of miles. Terrible terrible orders. These people are here the newcomers ruined it for us they’re desperate people taking lowball ass orders.
Man, I hate it when restaurants overfill the drinks. It will often result in me having to clean up a mess after I deliver it. So what I usually do is take off the lid in the parking lot and pour some onto the street. Milkshakes get sticky as well.
You work the same area as me as well! I hear you if I have a bad day I play on my phone till I get any order heading to my home and call it quits.
Do you have the option on DoorDash to do shop and deliver orders only? Just wondering, I’ve seen some people having that option. I don’t have it yet!
You have to take the BAD days with the GOOD days. Its the nature of the business. On bad days i push through. Most times when the afternoon sucks the dinner shift makes up for a lot of the low pay afternoon. IJS

Hell we are already being controlled by machines. The handheld computer apps and algorithms are like... watch me make him run over here run over there. When you have a question it goes to an A.I automated script response.

It's not even just computer algorithms - corporations themselves are essentially just money making robots. Sure, incorporating a business at the outset just helps to shield the owners from being personally liable for things, but eventually, if it doesn't fail, the business outgrows the individuals who started it, gets sold, and becomes part of the cancer of capitalism that will sacrifice everything for just one more dollar.
Yesterday, I delivered to a disabled lady who can't walk and is living in a small tent with her 2 dogs in her sons yard. Her son has a nice big house but let's her live in a tent! It was very messy and dirty. She said the dogs poop and pee around the tent because they're on a leash and she has to poop in a dirt hole!
4:23 it’s funny that you say that about the milkshake because when I get milkshakes from restaurants that I want. I will pour the milkshake in one of my spare cups in my car and then take the empty cup back to the restaurant and tell them I made a mistake and drop the cup.😂 so that I can get a free milkshake lol

The emotional Rollercoaster these apps take us on is wild. My emotional state is directly proportional to how much money I'm making and that can't be a good thing. Just gotta keep in mind that things will pick back up eventually.

I'm pretty sure they don't take alcohol orders because they don't speak English well enough to talk to customers.

Meaning if you have an investment that has a gain and you haven't sold it to take the gain you pay what's called an unrealized capital gain tax anyways.
So at the end of the year say you have a $10,000 paper profit on a stock or on a crypto and you haven't sold it. You will owe a 25% tax or $2,500. I Guess if you don't have the money laying around to pay the unrealized capital gains tax you'll have to sell some of your investment to pay the tax. THEN because you sold a piece of your investment you'll have to pay the 44.6% realized capital gains tax on top of the 25% UNREALIZED capital gains tax
