I am team tinsel. We get fresh trees each year and it always helps to balance them out as they are never perfect. Love your Grinch pjs! Thank you for the lovely Waitrose tour.
Aw I love a fresh (or ‘real’ tree as we call them) I normally get one with my boyfriend but he’s coming to Dublin this year so we got a fake one boo! He also likes to put tinsel on them! You’re very welcome Amy!
Hi Karen it was so nice to see all the Christmas food and ornaments in the stores there! We have ribbon on our trees tinsel we have around the doors decorated with baubles, snowflakes and bells.Have a great week 😀🎄✨🎅🏻🤶🏻
Oooh I do love seeing ribbon on trees but I can never place it myself so it looks nice! Yes I like tinsel around the place too, it’s so festive! You too lovely!
I don't like the tinsel on trees, just for the environmental reason and its a hassle to add and take off. We have the lights and ornaments on our tree. And I think it's fine to have Christmas parties in an apartment. If you can fit 2 or 4 more people, you can have the party 🥳.
Wow, the amount of Christmas food items you've got in the UK ... it's crazy, over here things are like always out of stock, just 'rebranded' in a festive packaging and probably more expensive too. I don't even think we've got like half of the selection you showed us. No tinsel in my tree, but white feather boa's :-) And I don't really drink alcohol, but like when I'm making tiramisu, I love to use Bailey's instead of Amaretto. I think it has a 'softer' taste or something, I don't know :p But I saw that they are having a lot of different flavours now as well, never tried those.
Oh yes, one of the best German traditions is the Stollen with the line of marzipan running through it ... omnomnom ... have it sliced with some butter on it. Otherwise, please send me the complete Waitrose Xmas foodhall, thank you very much x
@@KarenBee that’ll be fatal as I’m going there tomorrow and talking of M&S you need to try their limited edition indulgent hot choc. I have orange and cranberry cake and Rog has the turkey, bacon and cheese toastie, go, go, go

We don't use tinsel because we have a cat. But I love the nostalgia of them.
