Having a jig / cradle built into the kit, to help align the wing mounts etc was a good idea. I've got some ideas of my own but I'm keeping them to myself until I get a laser cutter, if ever.
@@joshuawfinn👉🔴What Do Muslims Believe about Jesus? Muslims respect and revere Jesus (peace be upon him). They consider him one of the greatest of God’s messengers to mankind. The Quran confirms his virgin birth, and a chapter of the Quran is entitled ‘Maryam’ (Mary). The Quran describes the birth of Jesus as follows: (Remember) when the angels said, “O Mary, God gives you good news of a word from Him (God), whose name is the Messiah Jesus, son of Mary, revered in this world and the Hereafter, and one of those brought near (to God). He will speak to the people from his cradle and as a man, and he is of the righteous.” She said, “My Lord, how can I have a child when no mortal has touched me?” He said, “So (it will be). God creates what He wills. If He decrees a thing, He says to it only, ‘Be!’ and it is.” (Quran, 3:45-47) Jesus was born miraculously by the command of God, the same command that had brought Adam into being with neither a father nor a mother. God has said: The case of Jesus with God is like the case of Adam. He created him from dust, and then He said to him, “Be!” and he came into being. (Quran, 3:59) During his prophetic mission, Jesus performed many miracles. God tells us that Jesus said: “I have come to you with a sign from your Lord. I make for you the shape of a bird out of clay, I breathe into it, and it becomes a bird by God’s permission. I heal the blind from birth and the leper. And I bring the dead to life by God’s permission. And I tell you what you eat and what you store in your houses....” (Quran, 3:49) Muslims believe that Jesus was not crucified. It was the plan of Jesus’ enemies to crucify him, but God saved him and raised him up to Him. And the likeness of Jesus was put over another man. Jesus’ enemies took this man and crucified him, thinking that he was Jesus. God has said: ...They said, “We killed the Messiah Jesus, son of Mary, the messenger of God.” They did not kill him, nor did they crucify him, but the likeness of him was put on another man (and they killed that man)... (Quran, 4:157) Neither Muhammad nor Jesus came to change the basic doctrine of the belief in one God, brought by earlier prophets, but rather to confirm and renew it.
IFFS props are easy to re-pitch. There's a separate section of the spar that you break loose when you adjust. Just CA the joint when you get it to match the side profile of the IKARA prop it's designed after. I've got good results with em
I'll have to take a look at that. I tried doing that wing last year's versions and broke several. Either way, even most of the advanced students would struggle to get a good outcome there.
To judge the pitch of a propeller, you must look at it from the tip end. Could you make an adjustable pitch prop by cutting across the spar midway and fitting into a tight bit of tube to hold the pieces back together? It looks like the IFFS O-ring tube might be about the right size.
Agreed on all accounts, and yes I've built propellers that way. Unfortunately it takes about 8 months of flying for the top students to finally understand propeller setup. By that point the contest season is over. In short, I push students to do this but the majority never get there. The ones who do end up on an FAI team. ;)
Don't need to do anything. Tension of the rubber will hold it in. I do occasionally put a tiny piece of masking tape on the bearing so they don't fall out as easily but it doesn't really matter.
Wait can you please make a build video on the Freedom Flight 2024 division C please, it has an interesting dihedral wing setup if you can this would be really help ful to gain an expert opinion
The Ikara propellers which really bring these planes to life are available here: jhaerospace.com/product/ikara-24cm-propeller-no-hardware/
Ahh, the joys of rubber power, so calm and relaxing.... lol
i love the full size plans! thumbs up!
Yeah they're cool as heck. I don't know how he turns a profit on these with all the stuff that's in them and the time required per kit.

Yeah I like the idea, keep wanting to concoct my own but I need on that doesn't make me feel like it's inadequate.

Nice build Josh and Hope .
Sweet, Josh.

i love these models, thinking about getting one my self. hey i had a question on the forums about you rubber if you wouldent mind.
Question- for ikara propellers with the ring to hold them, the propeller isn’t secured in and slips out. Any solutions/I’m doing wrong.

Ty! just tested and it stayed in place.

Similar but different. Kinda like Piper Tomahawk and Beech Skipper! 😂 What were the airframe weight(s) with Ikara prop/no motor?
Beautiful
Veri nice good job sir
It's surprising that you get so much flight time with rubber band power.
