Permit fly

Here this crab imitation is a fantastic permit and pompano fly, very effective for beach fishing and flats.
Materials.
Tan color thread 140 Denier
Size #6 TMC800S hook.
Large or medium dumbbell eyes.
Rabbit hair or fox hair (cream color).
Pearl cristal flash.
Epoxy mono crab eyes.
Micro ultra chenille.
Craft fur tan color.

Hi Mikel I have been fishing just 1/2 hour North of Mahahual I had fantastic results with this fly fishing blind about waist deep had 6 large bone fish with this fly in 90 minutes the next day had 4 in 1 hour fishing blind again.

On the critical part what did you use ? Epoxy , glue ? Nice looking I like the craft fur body can trim to any size .

I used crazy glue, could be resin if you like to. Could be trim to any size, just keeping the round shape 😄🙌🏽🎣 very effective for big permit. Specially for the lazy fat ones.
